Game changer for outdoor adventures
After searching high and low for a good outdoor bag for hiking with my camera, I decided on the Ruggard Pro 65 and I’m glad I did. It fits my Nikon D750 with 50mm lens easily. Width-wise, I couldn’t have gone much smaller. For this setup I probably could have gotten the 55 version, but I wanted the option to have more room for when I buy an additional lens and I think the 65 is just a couple inches taller than the 55. Other bags are a little less bulky but I ultimately wanted the extra protection since I plan on traveling with this. This bag is super padded and I have no worries about toting my camera around on hiking trails and inserting it in my carry-on bag. It also fits nicely in a bike pannier bag. It’s rugged and seems well made and built for outdoor adventures. It just fits my Gregory 18L day pack with water bladder filled and I can still shove a light fleece at the bottom. It’s snug but at least I know it’s not going anywhere. It would fit a bigger pack just fine (definitely measure though). If you keep it at the top of the pack, then you can just zip open the top and pull out your camera without taking the whole bag out. I also love that this has a rain cover built in. The bag exterior itself is thick and offers great protection from abrasion. It has lots of attachment points built in. All of the parts seem durable. The shoulder strap is comfortable. I plan to hike in Colorado with this by either leaving the bag in my pack or using the built in belt loop to attach it to my waist strap so it can live on my hip (and also secure it with a carabiner in case I unclip my belt and forget). It’s a little bulky for the hip for casual hikes, but with a pack on and for long hikes it looks just like extra hiking/camping equipment and I have found that it’s comfortable to carry this way. I just slide it towards the back on my pack waist strap when not in use, then slide it on my hip when I need to open it. I love the size and durability and protection that this bag offers. I researched chest-carry options, holsters that clip on your shoulder strap leaving the camera exposed, and other popular holster bags and I think this is the best option for my needs and leaves me worry-free. Wearing it on my hip or in my pack allows me to navigate trails freely while still being able to get out my camera quickly. The lens doesn’t actually touch the bottom of the bag since it’s suspended by the padding. Watch the online video by Levi Sim of this bag. It made me buy this bag. If you’re looking for a good functional outdoor bag, this is it. I have a different bag that I use for everyday that is a little more fashionable but this is one is a great practical secondary bag.

Fits a Super Zoom Nikon P1000
It was not easy to find a camera case for my new Nikon P1000 Super Zoom camera that wasn't giant-sized. I prefer holster bags, so this one fit the bill. This 9.5" high bag allows me to carry my camera, two memory cards, three batteries, the battery charger, the charging cord, two filters and even a small paper help manual without feeling weighed down and bulky. The fit and finish of the case seems sturdy and properly padded. I've been using this case for two months, have traveled with it frequently and am very pleased overall. The only negatives are that it is very expensive compared to most holster bags (but at least the quality is impressive) and it won't fit my camera when the lens hood is attached, so I always have to take it off before storing the camera.

Nikon P1000
I spent some time looking for a bag that would fit my Nikon Coolpix P1000. I previously purchased a couple of bags that reviews said would fit and they did not, not at all.. I found this bag and it fit perfectly. A couple pockets to hold batteries and remote. Price was a little higher then I wanted but I needed the bag. If you ask why I needed a special bag, the P1000 is larger then a normal 35mm DSLR, quite a bit larger. And please excuse Henry photobombing the pic😀

sturdy, reliable.
Too bulky for me, so I returned the product, but for ones that don't mind the size, I think it is a good protective bag.

Great Case
My favorite case. Well designed an constructed and will hold my Nikon D800 with 24-70 mm lens with hood attached. Highly recommend.

Holster Works
I envisioned using the holster to protect my Canon EOS RP with attached physically longer lenses; RF-24-70 and RF-100-400 on day trips. The holster easily accommodates the camera, lens and associated extras including attached shoulder strap, batteries, chips and etc.. I found I could attach a small prime lenses in its own pouch to the outside for additional shooting options. It is easy and convenient to open, extract and use the camera plus lens … and then return it for safe carry to the next stop. The only aggravation seems to be the zipper around the holster top; it takes some effort to get them around the square corners. All in all it’s a very functional carry bag.

Nice Case for Second Camera
I'm trying to simplify my camera equipment and "storage" I have two great cameras and decided I wanted a small case for my second camera...I'll keep a lens on it and use it to take with me when I take off for a quick shoot. I have two backpack cases, one Lowepro Flipside and one Think Tank Streetwalker, I'm downsizing from the ThinkTank, and keeping my other camera in the Flipside with more lenses and equipment. I'm keeping my larger Think Tank for when I go to a workshop and take both cameras and extra lenses... I think this is going to work for me! My only issue with the holster is that the narrow bottom means it won't stand up! But it will mostly be in the car or on me so I don't think that's a huge problem!

Perfect for me, may be too big for some
Bought because I love my Ruggard backpack, and I recently got a D700 with a battery grip. Fit with 35-70mm f2.8 attached, so if you are thinking you need to go up a size maybe you should reconsider. It is not built for stealth, but that is not why I got it. Fantastic build quality as one would expect from Ruggard, and I personally love it.
