Captain Fizzy Acrylic Caps 4-pack Patent Pending

I agree with Qrystal & Hank. An elegantly simple product that works! When it arrived, I was extremely dubious; how was this piece of hard plastic ever going to seal a soda can? Well it does! If you follow the instructions and get the feel for putting them on (yes, I admit, I crushed one can before I realized they really were sealing without so much brute force), they seal great! Today I reopened a half full can of Pepsi Max and the cap came off with a resounding "pop", like uncorking a wine bottle, and the contents were still carbonated. I am convinced the process of fitting this cap onto the can actually creates some positive pressure. The only other product that worked as well (briefly) was the flimsy "pump" devices, that usually give up the ghost once the rubber ages a bit. If you have some patience and manual dexterity, give Capt. Fizzy a chance!

How many items have no moving parts, nothing to log in and fundamentally WORK BEAUTIFULLY?Its not thin flimsy plastic its tough rigid Lucite. Really has body to it. Magnetic. So its eeeeazie to find on the fridge when not in use. A nice shove puts it on the can, locks in the fizz and that's all there is to it!!Can pull ring is not an issue as I read it is for other versions. Would love for this company to make something for soda bottles.Indeed if you shove too hard you can crush a can. You have to have just the right touch.If there's a flaw its the silly graphic on the cardboard atop the pkg. Shows a lid with a keychain that is nothing at all like the product really is. Makes no sense.

The product looked good on the computer so I ordered a set. When I received them they still looked good. Then I tried one it was fine until the the lid exploded and the contents went all over my desk. I read the instructions and did as it said. When I put the covered can in the refridgerator I was affaid that it might explode again so I had to empty a bin to put in so if it happened again it would contain the contents. It did not happen. Another time when I was holding the can and before I opend it it the lid sprung into my hand with a little force. Bottom line I would not recommend it.

Maybe I haven't fully figured them out yet, but they keep popping off on me. I left the room once and came back to find the cap on the floor. It popped off on its own! It also did this in the fridge once. I expected more out of this product.

The caps are well made. You need a little finesse to get the hang of using them successfully.One problem is related to the cans - some are so thinly made that it is easy to crumple them and the cap of course will not seal.

I've had these for over a week. Maybe I need more practice, but I keep crushing the cans when I try to mount put any of the lids on. The 2 evenings I was actually able to adhere them, they only stayed on for a few hours then they exploded off loudly and woke me up in the middle of the night. I thought there was a cat burglar raiding our fridge!

Simple design that works surprisingly well. Sturdy and easy to clean. Pays for itself saving those half cans of soda that used to go flat. American ingenuity at work. A great product. You don't have to crush the can to get a good seal; a firm twist does it and it fits different size tops. I've bought them for my self and then for my family.

These work well, it is just too bad that most soda cans are so thin now, don't use too much force when appling the lid and you will be fine. Really does keep the carbonation in.
