Will the cricut air 2 recognize this mat for the print and cut option?

Yes, the mat size is 12x12 inch

Will these work with the older cricket explore

I'm guessing yes. I have Explore Air 2 and they work. Mats are 12x12 so if your system has that wide of a carriage, I don't know why these mats wouldn't work.

Anyone know where are these made?

Probably China. They are junk. Get the real thing.
