I'm not very experienced with teleprompters, so take it with a grain of salt... but this thing seems like a mistake at the $60 I paid for it. It looks and feels like something more in the standard $100 range.Steel construction, numerous ways to adjust dimensions that other teleprompters lack, good looking glass that gives a clearer image than my old homemade teleprompter, solid mounting threads, and a well-built hood over the camera. I'm using a webcam pushed as far forward as it can go and the extension bag covers it fine.My only minor issues thus far: [my webcam has an extreme wide angle and I can see the corners of the hood in my shot even once optimally adjusted. Clearly the camera is the issue though. EDIT: I was wrong, even with an extreme wide angle lens I found a position where the hood is out of the shot.] It also doesn't seem ideally balanced. If you have a professional grade tripod I wager it wouldn't be an issue, but for my $25 Amazon basic tripod it feels a little sketchy, like it's threatening to tip forward or break the quick release mechanism. I used a C-clamp to attach a small counter weight in the other end and I think we're good.Overall, good quality feel that does the job at a lower price than what else I'm seeing on Amazon.

Best purchase ever. I purchased this, not really knowing how well it would perform. I downloaded the app on my iPhone and used a simple WebCam. I was able to shoot some videos for work that are phenomenal. It is well-built, easy to put together and easy to use. It does come with a remote control, and it worked flawlessly.

I ordered the 13.6" Iloknzi teleprompter because it will fit an iPad Pro. I don't have one but it gives me maximum flexibility. Amazon sent me the i2/12" model... twice. The second time I decided to just keep it because I figured out that it will fit an iPad Pro as well.I am impressed with the build quality. All of the important pieces are made of solid-feeling aluminum. There is a lot of flexibility in mounting the teleprompter to a tripod and mounting the camera to the teleprompter. The glass angle is adjustable and the glass is beam scattering so the text is crisp and clear.Some people have said it is confusing or hard to assemble. That was not my experience. I only had to look at the book to make sure the glass angle was adjustable before I broke something.The remote control is handy, I guess. I found there to be a slight delay in responsiveness but it's not too bad. The most unfortunate part is that in works ONLY with the S-Teleprompter app. Trust me, I've tried. Even with PC-based teleprompter apps. That limitation is part of why this doesn't have a 5-star review.So, about this app. It's... adequate. It handles the main functionality - scrolling mirrored text - as well as any other app. I didn't see any options for importing files of any type so you have to edit in the app or copy and paste. S-Teleprompter is on par with any other free teleprompter app. The paid apps have more features and are more user-friendly.The bigger disappointment and second reason this loses a star is the lack of any mounting options for a light or microphone. The setup guide shows side brackets with cold shoe mounts but they're not included and don't appear to be available. I don't find this misleading since none of the pictures on Amazon show them and they are not mentioned in the descriptions of any of the models they offer. I will tell you that someone (me) designed a set to be 3D printed and the model is freely available on Thingiverse and Printables.Would I buy this again. Absolutely! Would I recommend this to a friend? Without hesitation.

Don't be pursuaded by the inclusion of the teleprompter software (and remote) like I was. The app is an absolute joke and since the remote only works with their app, well...it's useless, too. Just a piece of plastic garbage...wait, that's it. It's China's way of getting rid of excess plastic and making us pay for it!As to the actual apparatus, I'll give it 5-stars. Very sturdy, although hefty. So if you're planning to use a tripod, you'll need a heavy-duty one. The glass (said to be tempered) is crysal clear with no adverse effect on the video quality.All-in-all, I'm good with the purchase as it still came in on the lower end of the scale compared to some of the stuff out there.

I was looking for a little help to share videos without stumbling over my words so after a few months of looking around, I found a deal for this one. It was well packaged and comes with its own case. The assembly was simple and the setup is easy to use. I had maybe an hour into assembly, setup, and navigating the app before I took my first video using this. It was a breeze! I only needed a couple of takes vs. a dozen or so. I looked flawless on the video and you couldn't tell at all that I was reading the teleprompter. I would highly recommend!

Delivers good results on a budget. Yes there are sturdier fancier models out there, but this certainly gets the job done. I used mine with a Sony Z5 HDV camera which is fairly bulky by today's standards. It was a good fit and the lens hood did a perfect job of blocking out the light. The prompter also comes with a carry bag to keep everything safe (particularly the glass) when you're not using it, which is a nice touch.I can't comment on the remote control / app since I haven't used - although it's designed for tablets I used a suitably positioned 10.1" HDMI monitor (about £60) and a free web browser based solution (telepromptermirror.com) which works really well, the only downside being limited speed controls. However once I found a comfortable reading speed, it was a breeze to use.There was a fault with the initial unit I received, but the seller was super helpful in getting a replacement issued with no fuss.

Utilizo esto para grabar algunos videos para YouTube y me sirve mucho ya que hizo que pueda grabar en mucho menos tiempo, lo que antes hacía en 40 min ahora lo hago en 15 además le va bastante bien con un iPad de 10 pulgadas y es muy fácil de armar, el vidrio no es un problema no refleja nada y aunque lo hago desde una cámara del celular me las arreglé para poner una base dentro de la vitrina y eso me hizo poder grabar sin mucho problema

Not as good as it could be. Sturdy, big enough, andeasy to set up. Comes with good quality carrying case and remote. App is sufficient, could use added features but gets the job done. Doesn't accommodate a camera easily. Overall I'm satisfied, and worth the price paid and would recommend to a beginner.

'Good' versions of teleprompters are about £270 so wasn't sure what to expect from this cut-price unpronounceable brand. But it actually works and is quite sturdy, fitting well onto a standard tripod. Even more amazing, the app is actually good and the remote connects effortlessly.
