Men's Glycerin 19 Neutral Running Shoe

I switched to these Brooks Glycerin 19s after wearing Asics for the last 30+ years - mostly Gel Nimbus and Gel Excite. I got fed up with with the lack of consistency in comfort and cushioning with the Nimbus line over the last many years and found that the $50 Gel Excite 4 felt just as comfortable as the last Nimbus I ran in. With aging and tightening muscles and joints I researched other cushioned running shoes and thought I'd try these. In size 11.5 M they are almost the exact same dimensions as the Excite 4 and Gel Nimbus, with the heel cup in these being 1/4-inch wider than in the Asics - which works well with my custom orthotics. The toe box in both brands is comparable - I need a fairly wide toe box. The superior cushioning in the Glycerin 19 was instantly noticeable - far more so than with any other running shoe I tried. I installed some bungee laces, ran 6 miles, and found these shoes to be the most comfortable I've ever ran in.My only concern is that the wear-tread is only one-half the thickness of the ones on Asics shoes, so I'm wondering if I'll be able to get the same sole-wear and mileage out of them.For sizing reference my foot length from back of heel to tip of large toe is 10-5/8 inches, which leaves 5/8-inch of distance to the inside tip of the shoe. My foot width at ball of foot at widest point is 4 inches.

Like the cushioning and the way it fit my foot. Shoes are very stable as well. I have worn Brooks shoes for many years. My favorite is the Ghost. This shoe feels like the Ghost but with more cushion. No dislikes

The Glycerin 19 has the stability now that was missing for me in my Glycerin 17. That comes from the new heel-counter support. Yet the 19 seems to be even more cushioning. The fit is similar to the Ghost 13 which is great for me. The Glycerin 19 is sorta a Ghost 13 with more cushion. I love the Glycerin 19. Kudos to Brooks for courage to make change for improvement. The glycerin 19 is considerably more neutral that the Adidas Ultraboost.

Had some very comfortable ASICS and switched to these shoes. These brooks are much more comfortable. I do mainly road running and do about 20-30 miles/month and am 48y old so my knees need the extra cushion that these provide. I will be staying with the Brooks shoes now!!

Listen. I decided to upgrade to these from a pair of $30 Target sneakers I owned since I was about to start the Police Academy and I'm just going to say this: If you love your knees and want to push yourself as hard as your spirit and genetics allow...don't think about it anymore. Get them. It's really impressive how comfortable they feel and how much impact they absorb when running. Thank YOU Brooks!

This new model does actually feel like it has more cushioning that the previous shoe. I have bad knees, and I'm very conscious of cushioning ability. They feel a little more snug that the G18, but perhaps this is because they're new. I use my thinnest sock. I have not yet tried the G19 GTS, because I can't find a pair in EE width.

I've been using the Glycerin shoes since I got a pair at Dick's Sporting Goods about four years ago. I generally buy a fresh pair each year because if I don't continue to use shoes with a lot of cushion I'll get knee pain. If I push further on an old pair of shoes I'll get shin splints.Using the Glycerin series of shoes has remedied that and this latest pair worked great for a nice 5k. I averaged a much better min/mile time than recent runs on my old shoes.The foot opening around the top felt a little smaller on these than the prior year, so I had to loosen the laces a bit more to get my foot into the shoe, but once I was in they performed great.

Me gustó la atención dada por Amazon, ya que inicialmente pedí los glycerin 18 pero la talla era un poquito más grande que la de mi pie. Hice el trámite de devolución sin ningún inconveniente y Amazon de una manera eficiente y servicial me atendió la devolución. Como los glycerin 19 ya estaban disponibles compré mi talla corregida con ese modelo y me gustaron. No tengo ninguna queja ni he tenido ningún inconveniente con la compra, además los zapatos son súper para correr y cumplieron mis expectativas...

Der Schuh ist sensationell. Laufe immer in Brooks, bislang immer den Levitate 2 als Strassenschuh, aber der Glycerin 19 ist zig mal besser. Heute angezogen und beim ersten Lauf 20 Kilometer gelaufen ohne Blasen oder ähnliches. Der Schuh ist tatsächlich ein Dämpfungsstar und gibt zeitgleich viel federnde Energie zurück. Auf der Straße kann ich mir keinen besseren vorstellen. Ich habe wie gewöhnlich eine halbe Nummer größer als Laufschuh und das hat gepasst

Siempre he corrido con las Brooks Glycerin o con las Saucony ISO. Corredor por asfalto, de más de 85 kg y pisada neutra (o plantilla propia). Si te lo estás pensando, no te arrepentirás.

Acquistate perché arrivo dalle Brooks Gliceryn 17 con cui mi sono trovato benissimo.Per ora ho fatto solo un paio di uscite e non so dire se sono migliorate dal modello precedente.Amazon consegna puntuale come sempre, la delusione è stata che le scarpe mi sono state consegnate senza etichetta in un pacco anonimo e non nella confezione originale e nessuno mi aveva avvisato di questa mancanza, ovviamente spero che le scarpe siano originali.Considerato che ho speso 119 euro ed ho acquistato un prodotto TOP si chiede più chiarezza/garanzie al venditore.Resterò con il dubbio.

Für mich persönlich ein sehr guter Laufschuh. Bin sehr zufrieden damit. Ich laufe seit Jahren mit der Marke Brooks, hier Glycerin. Als einzigen negativen Punkt, welchen ich bis dato zu verzeichnen habe, war die Verarbeitung bei Brooks Herren Glycerin 18. Bei diesen löste sich nach zwei Läufen im Regen die Sohle!Anmerkung: Die Schuhe wurden zum Trocken in einem gut belüfteten, nicht beheizten Raum getrocknet.Trotz diesem negativen Erlebnis ist für mich persönlich die Marke Brooks eine Empfehlung wert.

Ho comprato queste scarpe per fare corsa leggera. Inizialmente sembravano di buona qualità, leggere e comode.Ma hanno un grosso problema, la parte nera comincia a raggrinzirsi già dai primi utilizzi e se lavate, anche a freddo, una volta asciutte si restringono di almeno un numero e mezzo. Considerato che già vestono piccole ed ho preso un numero in più questa cosa è inaccettabile.
