Purchased this item, I have had many cameras, this is a bit hard to set up however once it is set up it works pretty good. the zoom is mechanical and not just software which makes for a clearer picture. the Pan and tilt works good and once you figure out the memory functions that also works good, it not only moves the camera to preset position it also adjusts the zoom (rare on most I have used), very clear picture and the night function works very well. I watch a car about 150' away and it is nice and clear even at night. I have learned that hard wire i.e. Ethernet cable in stead of the wireless is less overhead on the router. even my wireless cams I am using the cable if i can. have a few that have to be wireless and the mix of wired and wireless seems to not completely overwhelm the software (Blue Iris) if you have many (over 5) HD cameras you will experience lag on the video (even with a core i5 and lots of memory) just too much signal. I also have a noisy and power hungry IBM server with two 4 core Xeon processors and 64Gb memory, now that works great with no video problems, (again POWER HUNGRY and noisy 1400watts) so have to balance. Blue Iris seems to be the best for multiple cameras. Good Luck this is a pretty good camera

Been using a couple of months now and have to say this camera gets the job done. Daytime views are the best I've seen on a camera this size. Has many useful features and the firmware / Webpage offers easy and clear options to set the camera up. I'm pleased with there quick response to my questions and that always adds an extra star from me. Fully supported under Blue Iris Security software! I used an ONVIF setting in Blue Iris.

I've only just installed the camera, so I don't know how durable it is, and how long it will last, but it does seem to be an ok camera for the price, if you are comfortable with its limitations. The picture quality is good, and it's pan-tilt-zoom is very fast and smooth. I like that it has an "endless" pan, meaning that you can rotate the camera more than 360 degrees in one direction without having to stop and rotate back the other way.You need to have a good general knowledge of IP configuration including subnets because you have to configure it all yourself. The only useful information in the manual is the default IP and password.Another downside to this camera is a lack of firmware updates. I can't find any website offering support or downloads for this camera. I would not recommend connecting these cameras directly to the internet. With no one maintaining the firmware it is very likely that this camera will have security vulnerabilities. Connecting it directly to the internet could allow it to be remotely attacked.

Camera is excellent so far (only in use two months). Picture quality is excellent, Have used surveillance cameras for four years. This is the best camera I have used so far. The biggest drawback is the manual and setup. Once the camera is setup properly, all of it's features can be enjoyed with ease. If technical support is needed, you can email your questions and they will respond very rapidly. Usually, within 12 hours or less. Would have rated a five but lack of good, concise setup instructions made it a four.

This is an TERRIBLE camera. Looks like a 'knock off' of popular brand cameras. The instructions are terribly written and very difficult to understand to get through the set up. There is absolutely no company name or phone number anywhere on the box or instruction book to contact someone to get help with it. There is no information whatsoever on where to find the APP to get the camera to work. Once you get into the camera through the web address, set up is not easy, poor spelling makes it more difficult, factory setting didn't work worth a flip. I couldn't find where to delete events.....bottom line. I wouldn't spend $.50 to buy this camera again. It cost me time, energy and money having to box it back up to send back to Amazon. The positive....I bought it through Prime and returned postage paid!!! Thank goodness for that!!
