Blue Buffalo Healthy Gourmet Natural Adult Flaked Wet Cat Food Tuna 3-oz cans (Pack of 24)

I bought this variety pack 4 times within the last 3 weeks. I've been trying it out for the last few weeks after a trip to the vet. I had become quite concerned about one of my cats looking emaciated. When I took him to the vet I found out he had very high T4's (hyperthyoidism).Anyway, this cat food doesn't really have to do with that. But, the reason I started it was because I wanted him to gain weight as quickly as possible. Therefore, when I got home from the vet I bought several different cat foods to see what he liked the best. He really seems to love this Blue Buffalo the best.3 weeks ago my cat weighed 6.4 lbs. and in only 3 weeks, he's now up to 7.3 lbs. His T4's are also now down to a normal level. I can't give Blue Buffalo credit for that as it's mainly the medicine my Dr. prescribed for my cat and his taking it 2x a day. However, I would say Blue Buffalo has played a part in helping him recover. It's a good quality cat food and is highly palatable. My cats fur is also looking especially nice and his eyes look somehow clearer.Here's hoping he'll continue gaining weight and feeling better. I think we'll stcik with the Blue Buffalo but maybe also try some other versions. I've been getting him Blue Buffalo Healthy Gourmet variety pack but I also just got a case of the Blue Buffalo Wilderness as well. I have 3 other cats and they've also been going along with this and seem to also like this cat food. So overall from my experiences, I'd say this food is very palatable and seems to be healthy and agree well with my cats.

A great option for those looking for something that is better than most complete crap out there in terms of healthiness, but doesnt want to spend a fortune on cat food either, so needs a middle of the road option. Bought this for my adult cat. Pretty good ingredients for a pretty good price. He ate it all. I think he even liked that it was flaked (basically that it was in small, bite sized chunks, and thank god, contained fewer unnecessary emulsifiers) rather than a paté (mushy paste and emulsifiers galore ), since it was his first time having wet food that wasn't paté and he took to it way faster than any wet food I've given him before. And as soon as I went back to some other brand of paté cat food, he seemed to dislike it in comparison to this food. I don't blame him. I would want to eat pure mush either. So it gets a thumbs up from me. Ingredients aren't too bad. Could be better, but could be WAY worse and it's excellent for the price point (which is what I need from a food, so keep it just the way it is!)! Would buy again and would recommend to anyone looking for a middle of the road, middle price point food! Now if only Blue Buffalo would also offer a set with other flavors on Amazon like chicken and turkey ;) *wink wink*

There was nothing wrong with this cat food. My cat liked it and I liked the first ingredient was real meat or fish. I am commenting here because I couldn't find any other place to do this. The item was shipped in a large box with other heavy items. When I received it, the outer box of cat food was in pretty bad shape and two cans of the food were damaged to the extent that I wouldn't feed it to my cat. I wasn't sure it was still sealed. It smelled okay but not sure. My cat is prone to health issues and I couldn't take a chance on spoilage. Some of the other cans were bent but not as bad so I used them. I didn't want to send the whole thing back but wanted Amazon to be aware of the damage. These cartons and cans are not sturdy enough to be shipped with larger heavy items.

I am not going to review the food itself given there are other places online to look up reviews of cat food and I myself am not a cat!Our adult female cat is on a primarily wet food diet. She gets half a can in the morning and half a can at night, plus a little dry food left out throughout the night for snacking. When we first adopted her we tried out a few recommended "healthy" wet food options (we did not want to go down the raw food route) and she seemed to gravitate towards this one the most without overwhelming her with a bunch of options. We looked to Amazon to save money buy buying this in bulk monthly vs. by the can at our local Centinela.The first two bulk deliveries were problematic through Amazon. Some of the cans were significantly damaged and in one instance actually leaking (making the whole package a mess). Amazon was very understanding and simply sent us replacement cases for free on two separate occasions. This was about 10 months ago. We stuck with the subscription and for the past 8-9 months have had no issues with the packaging/delivery or food quality since then. Our cat always enjoys eating this food!

The product is fine but twice now it has been received with at least 1 can crushed and ruined. This happened on the April 3 order and the March 10 order.

The Blue Buffalo canned cat foods that I have tried have solid ingredient panels with healthy ingredients I feel comfortable feeding to my cats...and I am very selective about what I feed. I mostly feed raw with canned for some meals in between thawing out the raw. My cats are not lovers of pate styled canned food, and this is definitely not a pate as another reviewer that compared it to pate tried to say. I would considered to be minced even though it is described as flaked chicken. I have fed the Minced Adult Chicken and Trout and this has the size of the chunks in that although it is not in as much gravy sadly. This does come out of the can in a chunk, and my suggestion would be to just add a little hot water to it to warm up the food and give it a more gravy like consistency. I took a star off the food because although my boys were initially excited about eating it, they didn't make it halfway through the first case before they started turning their noses up. They are still rapidly devouring the chicken and trout flavor, so I think I will try some of the other flavors next time and take a pass on the chicken.

My cat absolutely loves it. Just the size is smaller than expected but that is on me not the manufacturer. This is the little can not the 50gr or 100gr size. Pictures were deceiving.

Both my cats love the Blue flaked tuna. However, Amazon shipped chicken which they don't like. Very dissatified with Amazon not Blue
