StarKist Solid White Tuna In Water, 4 Count

Sometimes, we just don't feel like going to the store. This tuna is not as good as others, but is good for what it is. The flakes are smaller than other brands, but it is still tasty tuna.

I especially like the clean fresh appearance of the tuna, and it doesn’t have an offending odor. The flavor isn’t “fishy” and the texture is firm, which isn’t the case with many other brands. I buy the solid white albacore to use straight out of the can, eating “as is”, for a good protein boost, but I also appreciate this brand is particularly easy to use for including in pasta salads, noodle bakes or on top of a green salad. Tuna is a healthy alternative to red meat, and is shelf stable in a sealed can, that you can store for longer than frozen/refrigerated foods. One can is enough to serve two adults a healthy proportion of 13 grams of protein EACH, and the water canned version has has zero carbs or transfats. Happy Eating!

A good value for a good kind of tuna compared to how much it is at my local grocery store.

One of the many things I sometimes enjoy eating is tuna along with crackers. While browsing on Amazon I came across this product (Starkist white tuna in water, 5 0z, 4 can pack) and decided to purchase it. I am pleased with the quick delivery, and I am happy with my purchase. Solid white albacore tuna -- a little more expensive, but I'm worth it. Best quality for the price (looks and tastes better than most of the much higher priced so called "gourmet" canned Tuna.) ..

This is supposed to be solid, white tuna, however, the cans are inconsistent. Some have very small pieces, not solid fish.
