This is a really great book. Clearly laid out chapters to inspire such as Declutter, connect with nature, save £ and the planet,This is an update of Keep it Simple. If you’ve not read it it’s really worth getting a copy. Lots of advice & ideas to help your relaxed interior styling by Bartlett & Coote.

Purchased new atlanta bartlett book relaxed living happy home different front cover but exactly the same page for page as her other book keep it simple!!! What a con.... Requesting refund do not buy if you have the other book very disappointed

This is a reprint of “Keep It Simple,” which, thankfullly, I didn’t already own. It’s very odd that the publisher omits this information. Second, a large majority of the images, I estimate around 90%, are from the author’s own home, barn, and cottages that were built on their property, which I only discovered when trying to find an image credit at the back. It’s a little disingenuous to see phrases like “…this gorgeous cabin” without mentioning that it is their own property, and this goes on throughout the book. These aside, I did like the images in the book for inspiration, even though it would be very difficult for me to even begin to reproduce such a look. I live in an area where there are no resources for older things, and while the images are pleasant, I wonder how much age and wear would be practical or welcome in my home if I had the opportunity to recreate it all from used and recycled materials and furnishings.

It’s exactly the same book as another one on the collection, do not buy
