Practical, easy read
I appreciate this easy read on money management. Helpful advice, and insight from authors. I’ve read Dave Ramsey, Suze Orsman- and this book is easier to read, and less conversational.

YES PLEASE, WE NEED IT!
This book is intriguing! I learnt so much from reading his stories and examples that I recommended it to my brother and his wife, who are both Christians and 50+. I let my brother read a sample page and he was ready to read the book! Thanks you so much for this!

Good, practical information
It really helped to take the mystery out of retirement. There's always the question of "how much is enough", what is reasonable, and what contingencies should you prepare for. This laid a very good foundation to enable me to answer those questions.

A crucial topic for everyone to learn now!
Larry and Ron provide a realistic thought process verified by their testimony and experience in the field. It touches on the essence of responsibility we all should take in handling our finances and taking care of our loved ones for the long haul. I especially appreciated the very specific references to biblical scripture and principles. This is a book that folks in their 40's should read. If you are 50 or older, its not too late, but you've got a whole lot more to be concerned about if the subject is new to you. Even for those that think they are fully prepared and know everything, this is a critical read to ensure that you really have considered all that there is to think about.

Thoughtful and well organized
This book covers the information that people need in order to plan for a long and happy retirement very well. It is written from a Christian perspective, and at times they compare their advice with "conventional wisdom". There is a lot to think about, and the authors have organized the book so that each section is not too overwhelming. They include personal Q. and A. questions at the end of each chapter so that you get a more down-to-earth perspective on some things. Implementation of their ideas is a challenge, but all in all a good book to get you thinking about the important stuff in "the second half of life".
