The original inspiration for Korner came from a conversation I had with a couple who were considering home security. They were a dual-income couple, both college educated, renting an apartment, and they recently had a child. They had shopped around for home security for some time, yet they finally decided not to purchase anything because all the alternatives cost more than they were willing to pay. After hearing this story it struck me - if this dual-income, college educated couple can't afford home security, WHAT ABOUT EVERYBODY ELSE?!? What makes your product special? Requires conformal coating to protect the electronics from the elements.
These security tags work pretty good when used with the Korner app on Android and respond immediately.The downside is the printed circuit board is not conformal coated leaving the electronics vulnerable to the elements.I have had to replace several of these so far because my basement windows (on severe long and cold winters in the north) will get ice accumulation. When the ice melts the water runs into these tags that are attached to the windows and destroys them. This would not be a problem if they were protected with conformal coating.

Awesome low cost product with precise and useable functionality
Its a wonderful product and meets my wxpectations. Only problem i found was one of my tag was not registered even crow flight distance was less than 20 fts because of alot of hurdles. My alarm device is in upper portion and tags are in lower portion of the house.Extender is must device to buy along.Still its cheap but meets expectations.Application is written in some different technology so little bit slow but works fine. Zone option for armin and disarming is my favourite.I will recommend this to everybody but with extender device.Bravo..

Out of business and still for sale???
Just an FYI, I have had this for almost 3 years and suddenly I got a bye-bye email. Like what???? It's not working at all now!!I loved this thing, but it is what it is. I had one on every door and window. Now I have to find another security system. BOOO!!!

Korner Home Security Service unavailable after July 2018
A heads up. I received an email message from KornerSafe on June 28, 2018. The subject line was "Termination of Korner Home Security Service". The body of the message was several paragraphs long, but this is the essential portion... "We recognize that many of you rely on Korner to secure your home and family, so we wanted to provide you with the opportunity to find a replacement for you security needs before we shut the service down. We will therefor be maintaining the service for another month before shutting it down completely."

Kornersafe going out of business!
I was notified by Korner that they are going to stop this service by the end of July. It has worked well up until now, but don't buy this system - it will be a waste of money.

So far, so good.
So far, product is awesome and works as advertised. Sensors work well and the Stick (main unit) notifies me of activity almost instantly on my phone or through the website. Set-up was fairly straight forward and changing any settings on the app/website is easy. So far, I have no complaints and their customer support team seems active in helping users troubleshoot their issues.
