perfect product for work
perfect product for work. I measure homes for flooring so I use this every day and it keeps everything neat so I just copy the drawings and give to the installers.

Only problem is it is not very sturdy. It is slightly bendable
It's an asset. I measure hundreds of homes. It gets used everyday. Paper stays tight. Doesn't slip out of place. Only problem is it is not very sturdy. It is slightly bendable. It is better to have it on top of another book, binder or portfolio. If you are walking around sketching. Not as stable as a traditional clipboard.

This draws anything but stright lines
The Clipboard is not solid as a normal Clipboard and flexes to much when you try to draw on it. To use it, you will have to place it on a solid surface which defeats its use.The inserts are unable to draw a straight line unless you use a very sharp pencil or a .05, .03 mechanical pencil, to hit the divots that are very shallow. which sometimes tares into the papers its a very sharp point. As an adjuster I can only use specific pens for my drawings, per my job requirementsand the shallow divots just do not allow me to do that. I was hoping this would be just as good as the acculine cad-mat, that has been discontinued. but I guess I will have to keep looking as this is not the product I was hoping for.

You still have to be quite careful when drawing lines and I use a pen with a fine point (
While handy, this tool doesn't make things that much easier. You still have to be quite careful when drawing lines and I use a pen with a fine point (.05) - I would not recommend using a wide point ballpoint pen (.07 or larger) and expect to reliably stay within the lines. The best use of this tool is with graph paper, so that you can keep your proportions while 'sketching' your object. I do use it when drawing buildings/rooms I want to remodel.

Use a fine point pin. That's what works best for me.
Used for work. Makes making straight line a breeze

Good , could be better
I purchased this when the accu line product was out of stock. I’d owned that brand before, and as I recallAcculine held the line better

The only reason this is getting 4 out of 5 stars is because of the bubbled areas on the pad.
