Boring and painstakingly slow!! Liked the hero Donovan but that’s only the thing to like in this whole book, hence the two stars.

Okay you guys... I'm so freaking excited to read this book and it turned out I'm not very fou d of this book. This book is slow burn romance... I don't feel the connection between me and this book... I always quick reader and I include myself into the characters I'm reading... But this book just like that blow off for me...Okay, when I first read the synopsis of this book, I thought this book is going boom but nah it's just went off things I anticipated to read.First thing that attracted was the cover and the second synopsis and third I love the main character(hero Donovan Decker) but I'm not connected to the story I could say. Anyway this is one time read for me. I always love to read Vi Keeland book but sometimes the things went off with books that I read and that really make me sad and hurt. Come on, you don't know how much I was excited to read this.There are some quotes from this book that just pulled me to finish this book totally.So yeah, this book is all about Donovan and Autumn. Autumn after her travel to los Vegas for celebrating a Bachelorette party, she arrived home but in the airport she mistakenly pick up wrong bag which is not hers, when she check out the bag there us tag named Donovan who is the owner of the bag thanks go she finds out his number, and calls him to meet her at star bucks to exchange their bags yeah he also picks her bag unknowingly. When the meet each other in the star Buck's instantly they attract to each other, Donovan immediately asks her out for a coffee thag leads into another level spending time each other, in his apartment romaing around all( without intimacy between them guys) after the weekend he wakes up feeling there is no there, yeah she ghosted him without leaving any information about her and not even her number also.After 1 year, Donovan takes up a case that was probono case and that's where he again meets Autumn, she is a social worker of the boy's case he's been handling. And, she dating his boss now,Who is divorced. Donovan he didn't forgot their weekend together, there is always spark between them, he knows she is the one he wants but she always ignores him.Donovan, He is a successful and rich lawyer, he has everything he wants in his life expect love. After spending weekend together with Autumn he is not over with her he again went to the star bucks with a hope of meeting her again. He didn't know her last name untill the meeting of the case. He is not born in sliver spoon, he knows the values of life and all the other factors, he went through lot in his life and he became Successful after all that. I really love him, he is also my main reason I inteneded to finish the books. He just perfect, he is not party playboy, he fine with sitting home having glass wine watching shows on Netflix and spartinv water to his plants having a talk with his plants, I'm so enjoyed whenever he talked with his plant's. Love the part. He knows, Autumn is really tough and not giving him chance to prove his point but he determined to work on his chance be got for her and he is ready to wait for her to fall for him.Autumn Wilde, she is social worker and she also went to law school because her dad also lawyer. She had rough path during her days, her mother died when she was young because of cancer and her father losted his mind after that marrying and divorcing who ever he date's. When she needed her dad he is not with her... She has the rarely relationship with her dad. Her relationship is not that good that made he doubt and tested about what she is doing that time. Her ex boyfriend Braden is freak that who follows her every where she goes and he controlled and possesive freak. After that relationship she has trust issues, she don't want to go into love she afraid she may get hurt gain and that broke her heart. That's why she ignore Donovan. But she always she has the spark between with Donovan afte one stage she told him about her past, she wants try with him. First I didn't like her that I agree she went through so much with his ex-boyfriend and all the stuff.Lastly, it's good read for who love to read slow burn romance, friends to lovers, who love to readLight romance.

I just simply love ANY book from Vi and this one was so especial to me. After a long time not reading nothing, I can say that this story of this in love man and this sweet strong woman had healed me 🙏🏼 Tks Vi for once again, save the day for me 🤍

This was a binge read for me as it was that awesome. Read the story in less than 24 hours. Donovan is book boyfriend material without doubt, and the chemistry between him and Autumn was undeniable 😍👌

Autumn and Donovan met in the most unusual circumstances. Both had arrived from flights, she took his luggage by mistake, so Donovan seeing a suitcase like his, but realizing it wasn’t his, took that one hoping that owner could get in touch with him, and they could swap. Swap they did, spending a whole weekend together. Except when Donovan woke up Sunday morning,Autumn was gone. No note, no phone number, nothing. All he had was her first name and a last initial.This is where the story continues a year later. Hop on for a wonderful ride!

This is not the type of book I usually read. I usually select books with a more literary flavor to them - and I don't mean that in a snooty way. That said, this book held my interest and is quite well written, if not a bit banal and predictable at times. I'm not prone to read another book by this author, as it lacks depth for me, but I enjoyed this one.

I want a Donovan Decker because that man is perfection. The level of character growth, plot progression and emotions portrayed in this book was impressive. The audio was also phenomenal.
