Perfect ironing board cover.I have had an old wooden ironing board (which I love for stability) for a long time. I was pleased to find a cover that would fit this extra long/wide ironing board. Love the extra padding on this cover which makes the ironing easier to do. I received and excellent product. Was very satisfied with this purchase, Great quality. I highly recommend others to purchase this if they’re unsure. I believe you too will be well pleased.

Just the right amount of padding, not too thick and not too thin. Material is cotton and feels smooth, not gritty as some other covers are. Fit my 14" x 54" ironing board perfectly. No problem putting it on. I placed this new cover over the one that came with the ironing board, which was a thin cotton with a 1/16" foam pad underneath. There were some small lumps, mostly near the edges, from being folded in the packaging. I wiped the cover down with a damp sponge and then ironed over it to smooth out the small lumps and it worked. You can see my 'before' and 'after' pictures. Another photo of the back end of the ironing board shows how perfectly it fit. The underside shows the two straps that I used. The upper strap has to be high enough so that the legs can slide underneath it comfortably when folding the board. I love the pattern and color and the extra mesh piece for ironing is a plus. I highly recommend this item.

Item comes defective already when I firstly opened it.It has a cleft on it, which looks like damaged by something sharp. It was my first time of buying something already broken on Amazon. I bought it because it was rated 4.8 thinking it will be a satisfactory cover, but now I feel very disappointed.

I measure my board before I bought this and found it very hard to stretch to the end of the boar and also to cover the edges. I got it to Cover the whole top and most of the edges, but I’d say get a different cover if the dimensions of your board are at the limit of their given measurements. The quality is very good and the heat pad is nice and thick.

Our ironing board is 15"x 54" and this cover only came down to the sides. There was NO wrap around on the bottom. So, when I put on the clips to hold it on underneath, the clips stuck out past the edge of the board. Clothes would have caught on these continuously. Then there's the extra pad included. What a cheap piece of junk. I had ordered another cover from a different company. That one had velcro straps underneath to hold it together. One velcro strap is positioned wrong and gets in the way of the lowering lever, but the extra pad that came with it is really nice. So, I'm keeping the other one that has a nice pad and has only 1 strap that I have to re-do. Looks like it's not possible to get a cover that actually wraps around a 15" x 54" board adequately. I will be returning this one.
