Snugger SS4200 Diesel Water Heater 12v

Worked for 2 hours then quit.

I live in northern Wisconsin. I installed one of these snugger heaters on my 93 ford with 7.3 IDI diesel engine last summer. It works so good I can hardly believe it. At zero degrees, the engine is toasty warm after 1 hour. After 2 hours, it starts without the glow plugs. Just press the button and the heater starts, press it again to turn it off. It hardly uses any fuel at all. I use it now every time I cold start the engine .I have used it at least 20 times so far this winter and hope it holds up good.It was expensive but so far I love it.

I purchased this through eBay and felt I ought to leave a review, since, at this time, there is only one review and it's 1-star; it deserves better. I give 5-stars for the outstanding customer service, performance, and price. I did have an issue with my unit after test running it for a while, but the company was quick to overnight an entire replacement unit; no fussing with parts. After that, I've had no issues and it works as described. I will say that it is not as quiet compared to the factory installed Webasto on my '06 Sprinter, but it's still quiet and; nothing to complain about for the price compared to a Webasto.
