My criteria for keyboards is TKL with a dedicated media dial, which narrows my choices down considerably. This one is great in that regard, I really like the unique design and the dial is very satisfying.I've always used blue and brown switches before this linear one, and I really prefer those. It's easier to accidentally hit keys on this kb, and it's also less responsive when gaming--I've had multiple instances when I've pressed keys but nothing happens and it messes up my rotations. I'm going to chalk this one up to my poor key choice and not hold it against the kb, though. Typing is pretty decent, key size and spacing is the same as any other kb unlike some reviews I've read said. The spacing does look bigger due to the shortness of the keys, but feels normal.Build quality is good, no flexing and the kb feels sturdy and cleans easily. The removable cable is a nice touch, though the cable itself is pretty thin. So far it's held up well with how often I move my kb and bend the cable. My gripe is mainly with the keycaps, which are PBS and so easily show finger marks. At this price point, caps should really be ABS. They're stable and feel good, though, and shows the RGB lighting well. I also have a set of white pudding caps I could switch to, but then the unique design element would be lost.The software is also pretty useless. It doesn't do a lot of stuff other kb software does, like remap system keys (I like to remap caps lock to tab) or let you customize lighting effect colours (I had a pastel rainbow wave on my old kb, but Swarm doesn't let me change the colours for the wave--I can only have heartbeat or breathing with custom colours). For some reason, without the software installed, my kb won't change the RGB brightness with the FN functions (I can use FN key to turn lighting on and off, but not change brightness).
