Q: How much does the chair weigh?

Surprised me when I weighed it but it came in right at 10 pounds. It feels much lighter when it's on like a backpack because the weight is distributed very well. We carry ours about 600 feet to and from the beach regularly and it's the easiest part of the trek. Hope this helps!

Q: How do you fold this chair up? It keeps opening each time I try to pick it up! It folds out and no way to put it on your back if it opens.

The is a small velcro strap on the side to secure the chair closed when transporting it.
