RaggTopp Premium Vinyl Convertible Top Kit

I recently bought a 13 year old Audi tt as a toy for my wife, and though the car hadn't been abused the top was given minimal care and leaving it with some areas of discoloration and mild fading. After going over the top twice with the cleaner and letting it dry overnight the difference in appearance was very noticeable. The top now looked black and not a dark gray and the dirty brown areas now gone.Sadly while cleaning the top I realized the rear window leaking and saw no need to use the preserver until after the new top is installed.

After reading many reviews of products used by others to revive their convertible tops, I ordered this for my ragtop, hoping it would remove black stains and years of neglect from previous owners. After following the directions, I was sad to see very little improvement in the way the top looked. My take is that this product might do a good job of keeping a newer top clean and looking good, but once it's as far gone as mine, nothing is going to save it. At some point I'll replace the top and use this product to maintain the value and look.

Excellent job on my bug

The cleaner says fabric and vinyl cleaner. The protectant says it is for vinyl, and I didn't notice that when I placed the order because I went off of the cleaner for info, I suppose. Wish I could send it back, but it's non returnable.

I bought this for my 1990 Mazda Miata, and the cleaner and brush is fantastic. Brush very rarely leaves little strings behind and its super easy to spot them because it's green. The protectant is kind of whatever honestly. Like, it works well, it brings back the beading properties of my soft top, but to get it on the paint or glass is really annoying. Could be worth your time to do some masking prior to applying the protectant.
