We have an Indie that has a short top coat and a second undercoat. I have tried different brush types before and they either clogged easily or didn't work at all, so I researched more and ordered this. I was quite hesitant at first because of cost and honestly, I feel that it is overpriced but the fact is that this is the cheapest I could find among deshedding tools but I am not disappointed. After using this, shedding inside the house and on our clothes has reduced drastically. Before using this, every morning we used to get fist full of hair after sweeping, but now there is barely any. Also, hugging her used to leave our clothes full of hair and that too is much better now. The dog also seems to love getting brushed with this. As soon as she sees this in our hand she comes right to us and she stays put for the entire 5 or 10 minutes we take.The capacity to hold hair is quite limited, but it is very easy to remove hair from it, so it is not an issue at all. Just use your index finger to sweep the hair off the head and it is ready to catch more hair.

I have ordered small size for my pup and it really hurt my dog skin it is too sharp for dog and its handle is very light weight and might be broken after 3 4 time uses i would not recommend to pet owner. Not happy with the purchase

On placing order once I got the broken one with missing parts, on placing replacement request the second item received was also found broken and had missing items. I had to return the item ultimately.Not recommended for purchase.
