Just what we needed!
Our sliding doors needed some love. Got some wood filler for scratches (dang dog won't stop pawing at them) .. repainting them this weekend... and got these super easy films to keep the morning sun at bay. Its obnoxiously bright in the morning.Priced fairly compared to similar products, delivered in 2 days, and went on the windows in a about 30 minutes. It took me more time to clean the windows and trim them to size than actually hanging them. The most annoying part is cutting the film. By far. If you have the space to do it, roll out as much as you need and cut with an additional 1/2 inch-to-full-inch around perimeter. Begin to hang from left to right... I use a small silicone spatula to push into small gap where glass and wood meet.My advise for install: if you think your windows are too wet... add more. (Sidenote: you dont need the solution.. its literally the same as filling a pitcher with a gallon of water and adding a few droplets of any liquid soap. I used dial. I've used [even less] dawn dish soap with past films].)Its important to clean the windows before you put the film on. Literally one dog hair will create a giant bubble. You can easily avoid this by adequately watering your window. The more water you add, the easier the film slips around and maneuvers into place. The more you add, the easier it is for hair or debris to slip to the bottom and come out. The more you add the less likely you are to end up with air bubbles and imperfections.A squeagy is highly recommended. Sure you could find an alternative tool, but the squeagy just does it perfectly and easily. Also a box opener with a fresh blade will help make it an easy process.I can see out clearly and can't see in from outside unless I press my nose to the glass lolI noticed some reviewers mentioning distortion but I haven't had the displeasure of that myself. So I highly recommend!

Why Didn't I Do This Sooner??
have large double-paned windows in my living room (72"x56") that I love to lookout during the day. One of them faces west and the setting sun in south Texas is no joke. I put this on in about 30 minutes and immediately felt the temperature drop. I mean, I can't feel ANY heat coming through. Amazing. There's a little visual distortion but the trade-off of no glare and no heat is totally worth it. Oh, and it gives a LOT of privacy too. Do it, your only regret will be that you didn't do it sooner.

Easy to install
This static cling film was fairly easy to install. Trimming was a little tricky, but maybe my blade was not sharp enough. As others noted in reviews, if you look at the film a certain way, there is some distortion but the benefits outweigh this minor issue. I suppose a more expensive film would be more clear, but for this price point, it is a good product.

You have to have this!
I live in New York where there are tint laws. It goes on like any tint. But is alot more forgiving. I have this on my cars, and when I have it's inspection due, I just peel off, lay out on towels. Get the inspection done. And re apply after. And ever tinted my company trucks. This should be everyone's choice when it comes to tint. After 3 days, and sitting in the sun. CLEAR!!! I also recommend for your home. Sofar I saved 20% on my summer electricity bill from year after year.

Easy to install but blurry
This is a static cling film meaning no separation of adhesive protection film, so it's relatively easy to install using soapy water. There is no adhesive to get stuck to itself. The film is relatively thick so it's easy to handle and presumably easy to remove.. Make sure your blades are sharp, and I still haven't quite figured out how to cut the corners exactly. The big issue I see is once installed correctly with no bubbles etc The view through the window is blurry. A thinner traditional adhesive film would be better for windows you plan to look through 😁. But for my roll-up garage windows, it works pretty well to provide just the additional privacy I wanted when the garage light is on at night.

Lots of visual distortion
This product is easy enough to use and apply, however the view in my opinion is quite noticeably visually distorted. This distortion is part of the product itself (not the application) as it has a slight texture and in some places streaks within the film. I was hoping the visual distortion was only due to the application and would clear up as it dried, but they have been up on the window now for more than a week. I'm disappointed as I wanted to use these in my sunroom... But now the view is so distorted. I will be returning this and going with a different product. It's hard to capture the distortion in a picture, but it is quite noticeable in personal. If you look at the edge of the pool which is smooth and round you can see some distortion. The window on the left has the film and the window on the right does not.

Harder to install than it looks

Very blurry
Film is easy to cut and install, but I would not use it for cars unless it's the back windows and you don't need to a out of them, the quality is very blurry and distorted due to the irregularities in the film. It's not smooth and clear like an actual tint

Blurry at first but clears up
Put this on my Chrysler 300 front windows pretty easy just use soapy water it was pretty blurry at first but cleared up pretty well pretty happy with it just take your time cutting out the outline for your tint I kind of screwed up on mine but it's still okay.

Trop faible
Je pense que 50% est le minimum pour avoir de l'intimité, alors que 20% est très peux opaque
