This is a great gadget!
Bought my son a new Xbox Series S and a really good gaming monitor. Then realised my mistake in that the monitor does not have speakers. The Xbox has no sound output ports anymore! So can't hook external speaker up the the Xbox. This little gadget solves all that. HMDI from Xbox to this. The HDMI video to the monitor from this and optical audio to speakers from this. All works great!

Bought this as a replacement for a cheaper option that didn’t work.Simply plug In hdmi cable in link the out hdmi cable to your screen and connect the sound device to the this box and you will have sound coming from the device you wantWorks perfectly and saved buying a more expensive Amp

Functioned as advertised
Neat litle box that allows me to split off stereo input from my DVD/Blue Ray HDMI for my old amp and speakers.Picture quality not impacted and sound is much better than the TV speakers.Had it over a month and working fine.

Simply works and passes through audio and video with high quality
Does what it should. I use it to split the audio out of the HDMI from a PS5 and feed it into my AV amp. Simple, 10 seconds to plug in and then forget about it. The video pass through seems exactly the same quality as with the PS5 plugged straight into the tv.Bonus is that it comes with a power supply (with UK plug); others I looked at require a USB power input.

Just what I needed.
Upgraded my TV and guess what no audio out via phono connectors on my new one, I use my hifi for the tv sound As I use a separate box for my streaming services and that doesn't have phono out either this audio extracter does the job great.
