SabatierClassic Professional Chef Knife and Block Set, 5x Premium Steel Kitchen Knives and Wooden Block, 5 Piece

I purchased the knives from the specific Sabatier company because it was supposed to be incredibly reputable for quality but I’m really disappointed that after 10 weeks of meticulously following the washing drying and cleaning instructions there appears to be rust on two of the five blades. I’ve looked through the manufacturer website and because these ones are not the ones with the elephant logo it seems the company don’t want to know, so I guess I’m stuck. Really disappointed overall.

Gosh I love these knives! They are sturdily constructed and sharp. But, like all knives, they still need to be sharpened before uses. Compared to the 'cheap' knives I had before these are fantastic. For knives in this price range they are exceptional. Good quality, great price, good variety of sizes and uses. I can only recommend them!

Had these knives for a little over a month, used them a handful of times, cleaned the, how I always clean my knives. Suddenly they got rusty, stopped using the, as soon as I saw the rust starting to form. Not sure if my item was just defective, as the reviews seemed really good when I ordered them. One knife was also snapped, so I did bin it. Just keep an eye on the knives if you are purchasing them, other than that they were great.

Nice set of knives.Because they are not stainless steel ensure you give them a really good dry after they have been washed and they will keep their shine.I still use a Sabatier parer knife I bought over 35 years ago and, although that one has weathered with age, it is still a nice knife to use.

Great until one of the knives broke.Can’t find a way to get help to get a replacement. Rust spots happened fairly quickly too. Would not purchase again
