I bought these on a whim, as I needed to polish my car's headlight covers, and wider tape was a PITA. These work perfect'ish. Even a bit of water will cause the tape to come off. So wet sanding? not so great. Ditto rinsing off e.g. 3M sanding polish.However, I am now hooked on narrow tape for everything from detailing to labeling of bottles and food. And the price point on these is great. So, take a whirl, as useful as silicon rubber bands ;{)

While the tape is thin and works well as a mask, the adhesive, which is invisible sticks to the masked surface and cannot be seen when the tape is removed. If another color of paint or clear coat is then applied the residue acts like oil in the surface would act and the new paint will have fisheyes wherever the tape was previously. I haven’t yet tried to see if prep solvent would have removed it. BEWARE

This product arrived on time and was exactly as described

The edge is not sharp and does not leave a clean line. There are way better quality tapes out there. Might be fine for a car but not for small fine scale stuff.

Product is of very good quality. Easy to apply and remove. I wish that smaller sizes were available as I want to do pinstriping on models and vehicles. Overall great product.

I like it because it works very for our purpose stick very excellent.
