These cable ties are so easy to use, just fit them to one end of your cable, wind it around the folded up cable and make sure the flat side of the tie meets the fluffy side. I’ve used these everywhere from iPhone cables to hairdryer cables. Not one has failed me (and yes, I’ve waited quite a while before reviewing to make sure) and none of them is yet showing any wear whatsoever.RECOMMENDED

Absolutely brilliant things, all kinds of uses, hold strongly and of course reusable! Great for keeping electrical cables tidy and great for tying unruly house plants to supports, much better than plastic cable ties as they are soft and easily adjustable.

I can’t say they don’t work because they do but they are a tad on the short side for my needs. Guess I should have done my homework better !

I wasn't aware of just how perfect this product would be for my purposes. It comes with multiple hook-and-loop bands, which could be perfect if you want to keep the cable sleeve in a certain position against the wall. You have to take a little care to tuck the "cat head" of the hook-and-loop ties back behind the sleeve so they don't become undone and visible, and it'll be perfectly tidy.My project wasn't exactly that, however; I had a band of hook-and-loop on the top of a windowsill to be a temporary holding mechanism for seasonal lights, like my Christmas star. Because of these bands, I didn't have to MacGyver the thing as I had planned, but instead just used the hook-and-loop bands that came with the sleeve.The sleeve itself is perfect as well, with a sturdy zipper that makes it possible to replace the lead and switch out the seasonal lights without making a big song and dance.
