Myra does a great job of not only proving that you can do overshot on a rigid heddle loom, she shows you how in great detail. She takes you step by step through the weaving process with great instructions and photographs. And then she gives you some beautiful patterns to make. This book will give you the tools you need to produce crazy beautiful overshot that will look amazing and you don't need a big multi shaft loom to do it. I've woven on both a rigid heddle and a floor loom and the patterns Myra Wood put into this book rival what I can do on my floor loom.

The hype on this book makes it sound like it’s something new. It’s not. “Crazyshot” turns out to be the same old way to weave Overshot on a rigid heddle loom that has existed since the ‘70’s. Chart it out and pick it up one row at a time with a pick up stick. Too expensive for what it is and nothing new here. I’ll be reselling my copy.

I absolutely love this book. Myra Wood has given ridge heddle weavers a gift, a gift that allows one to create beautiful weaving patterns with one heddle and a pick-up stick. Most overshot patterns involve several heddles and often complicated threading patterns, this book's techniques makes it simpler and easier and the results are thrilling to see! Two words: Game Changer!

I received my book today and am so happy with it. There is an attractive variety of patterns. The color is beautiful and draws you into all the projects. I am familiar with the various methods of weaving Myra mentions and appreciate how she has adapted them to this style and the rigid heddle loom, making it more accessible to a lot of weavers. Thank you Myra for providing us with this book!!

This is a great book! There are a ton of patterns to use = perfect for learning pick up on the rigid heddle~ I highly recommend it!! It's a great book to get your mojo for weaving back!

Great little book for giving practical instructions on how to do overshot weaving on a rigid heddle loom. Gives you more info than some of the other books that go over what you can do with one of these amazing looms. Very colourful designs. Also good advice on where to go looking for patterns - such as fair isle knitting patterns etc.

So I don’t think I have ever done a review but so impressed with this book that I needed to share. I started weaving in august 2020 so see myself as a relative beginner with a few projects under my belt. This was so easy to do, the instructions really clear with beautiful results. I had no problems putting the warp on my RHL or managing the weave,100% recommend!

This book is full of pretty pictures but a bit skimpy on instructions.I feel it is over-priced for what we get.Disappointed.

This book is amazing, it really opens up the world of weaving on a rigid heddle loom. It has great instructions and lots of inspiration for really beautiful woven fabrics.

Simple, clear instructions for overshot on a RHL with one heddle and one pick up stick. Including how to read pattern charts. Love it!
