Dungeon Craft Board Game: Volume 1 Loose Leaf Inside a Custom Box, Water Resistant, Dry Erase by 1985 Games

This is as advertised, and I am pleased with the quality. I will agree with some other reviews that it is a bit of a pain to cut out all the pieces, but you can do so as you need them. Personally, I am cutting them all out right away and sorting them by category in Ziploc bags. Cutting can be difficult on some pieces because the lines are not always terribly visible (such as on a green grass background) but you can usually flip the sheet over and see them more easily on the reverse side. There are a few pieces that have no lines at all, however.My only other small complaint is that not all the pieces seem to be to the same scale, thought I could be mistaken since I haven't really compared them all.Overall, I am very satisfied.

Absolutely horrible. I actually enjoyed cutting the many pieces out, that's the best part of this.The majority of the pieces are unusable. All the "grass" playing pieces are just trees. Nearly 30 trees. Unless you're playing Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, you will not want them. They make it look like there's scenery and towns you can build. No, you can't. Other than that there is some skinny water pieces, some long bush pieces and some edge of the cliff pieces. Out of all the grass cut outs there is FOUR squares that is just grass ... and it's on a freaking corner piece of a bush ... the only bush and the only corner piece ... you can't even make it into anything. SO STUPID.All pieces look like crap next to eachother, unless you cut every piece exactly right there's awkward over lapping and pieces constantly moving. OCD People beware. This will be a nightmare for you.The horse is diagonal ... not a big problem but it looks pretty stupid when the 2x2 horse is diagonal on a grid map... like use your head.The boat IS ON PAVEMENT ... honestly who designed this. To the best of my knowledge boats go on WATER. Yet they decide to add a stone surround to the boat piece? It's just so stupid, i feel embarrassed pulling these out to use.Buildings don't have doors ... out of the maybe 15 different housing pieces, a couple of doors inside of the house and 1 has a door that shows where it is on the outside of the house but once again it's just so stupid. You literally need to add your own door piece ... this product is the laziest item I have purchased for D&D. The smallest amount of thought when into this and it's convinced me to not buy anything they make again.I purchased this, I am the DM, and I use none of this. I let my PC's take a look at how horrible all these pieces were and actually apologized to them as I was expecting to get some enjoyment out of this purchase for my game.Unless you want a 20 x 20 grid where 19x19 pieces are just trees. Do not purchase.The only thing this thing has going for it are the "dungeon" style pieces and the large pieces. Decent enough to use, but not worth the money just for the couple of useable pieces.DO NOT BUY, DO NOT GET ANY DUNGEON TILES THIS COMPANY MAKES. Theyre adults with the brain of children in control of these tiles.Would love a refund, but refuse to send this back, I put enough time and money into this crappy product, I'm not putting time into mailing this back.Best thing I can do is prevent someone else from wasting their money on this.Once again, i enjoyed cutting the pieces out. Flashback's of being a child doing arts and crafts.

Bought this for my FIRST DM session ever. Was really pleased with the product. The image and the premade rooms really helped me improvise stuff on the spot to kkep my players on their toes! I really liked it and I WILL buy the other similar products by DungeonCraft. :)

It's definitely I time saver but be ready to have a lot of cutting to do :)That's being said, I would have loved for more environmental parts and a little bit more diversified instead of the characters included. Those are pretty much a waste in my opinion since a majority are already using minis or homemade characters.

This product is absolutely awesome and is a must have for any dungeon master. The product is well put together besides the cutting out in which I don't mind at all. I can't wait to see the new products coming made by this company.The detail is so awesome that all my players thought it was great. Fast and easy for drop on the map in a pinch.
