Q: Does this brand name have a wax material? I'm looking for glass finished marble look. Any recommendations.

i don't know about wax, but the surface burnishes up by rubbing with a steel trowel to give that finish

Q: Hoping to put this on the exterior of our fireplace. Can it withstand high heat?

I wouldn’t think so I would run a test put it on a substrate and heat up something like apply small amount to parchment paper and place on a cookie sheet and put in the oven. My thought is that it will crack.

Q: Is this suitable for wet areas like tadelakt?

I have no idea what tadelakt is. I use it on canvas for my art work

Q: Is this base the consistency of mud and the color white?

Yes it is white as it is a tint base only. Yes it is much like mud sort of like dry wall mud Great product!
