Shortly after purchasing this package, we entered into "stay at home" orders as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Was able to go fishing only a handful if times and was fortunate to catch a few small speckle trout. You can imagine my surprise and joy when I tied into a nice size rainbow which could not have been more than 2lbs. In maneuvering it close enough to net, my lovely rod snapped! For $85.99, I am disappointed with this Plusinno as advertised on Amazon. If this rod was only good for fish 1lb or less, I would never have purchased it. Would like to hear back from Amazon or the manufacturer on getting a better quality rod.Thomas

Bought this for my partners birthday on June 4th. We do a lot of mountain lake fishing so telescopic was perfect for his needs and he always kept it in its case when not in use. Less than two months later the rod snapped while he was casting. Not sure if it was Just a faulty rod or what I’m pretty disappointed and so is my bf. the few times he did use it it worked great and even caught a few little rainbows. The return window is now closed and I can’t find any contact Info for the supplier. Hoping someone will contact me after reading this to see if we can at least repair or something but so far WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

I’ve had this rod for a few weeks now and have taken it out several times, including backcountry kayaking/camping where it’s getting tossed around. It packs up nicely and is perfect for transporting. The reel is smooth and easy to operate. The rod seems solid and durable, as do the rings. I own a couple of other rods but this is my favourite because of its ability to collapse. I choose not to use the carrying case because I don’t want to have to take the reel off each time (although it’s easy).

I’m happy with this product. Gift from my son Anthony for Father’s Day . We went phishing yesterday and I’m glad to used this which performed well and good for now . Good luck ladies and gentlemen n
