I had to get replacement for this Roku remote and it works great!Compatible with my Roku 3 as it well made and works very well I needed another one as the last one I had was very cheaply made so this remote was and feels quite well strong thick plastic and more made of quality again it was worth the price of $4.00 usually of $15.00 for replacement remote so I highly recommend this way better made strong plastic not again cheap thin plastic well.thanks!ImSo happy and pleased with this item i.would recommend it to anyone who needs another Roku remote replacement you will be very satisfied as,I am and im now watching my Roku tv thanks to replacement I got today on Nov 13th 2018 again thanks

Remote control works perfectly and you can't beat the price! The buttons are easier to push than the original remote and it feels a bit cheaper but as long as you point it directly at the unit it works magnificently! Very happy with my purchase. Would buy again and recommend to a friend. The value for money is great!

EDIT: After using this replacement I have found it works just fine, you don't need to press the buttons harder or any such nonsense. I found that if it is pointed at the ROKU unit it works as normal, but if its not it seems as thought you have to press real hard. As many have said this remote works right off the bat because it operates via IR not RF like the original so positioning the Roku unit in line of sight to the remote is required. Also this remote uses AAA batteries instead of AA as a result it is thinner. As some have said the response is not as consistent as original but I did notice that the OK button sometimes requires more effort at times maybe because it is in the center of the arrow buttons not separate like the original. Bottom line its not the same as you got used to with original. I laugh in disqust when reviewers complain that it doesn't work or it does't have headphones and volume controls all because they can't read the description info.

This did not work. I cannot use it with Roku stick, Roku 3, Roku Premier, or Roku Ultra.It should have worked with stick or Roku 3 but it does not. A total waste of money. Do not buy this unless you enjoy frustration and throwing money away. It is not returnable. Did not find the "not eligible for return"until I tried to return it. Do not Buy.

Purchased even though the reviews were 50/50. Seems like all Roku Remote Replacements will either force you to use super close to the Roku or it won't work at all. I lost my remote a while ago and was using the app on my phone which also works perfectly. However, when your wifi disconnects off the Roku, you are in deep trouble and are in need of a remote and this worked perfectly!! My boyfriend uses it more than I do and he still uses both the remote and the app without a single issue. And I've had this for about a month I believe and I'm sure it'll hold up over time.

I would like to say good things by name about this generic IR remote for most ROKU streaming devices. But, unfortunately, it is a no name device. No maker, brand or even name of the device itself. So I can't say "The Blah Blah is great", and I sure can't use the name used on Amazon, the "Remote Control roku 4, New Replacement IR Remote for Roku 1 LT HD Roku 2 XD XS Roku 3 Streaming Player with Shortcut Buttons MGO VUDU, Not Support ROKU Streaming Stick (HDMI or MHL) and TCL ROKU TV". But, I digress. This is in fact a pretty good generic replacement remote for ROKU streaming devices. I have used it successfully on all the the ROKUs that I have that use IR for communication from the remote to the device, ROKU 1, 2, 3 & 4, ROKU Premiere and Ultra, etc. It does not of course work with RF only devices that expect radio or WiFi connections. It's amazingly similar in look and feel to the original ROKU remote. All in all a great value at $6.00, the selling price on Amazon at the time of my order. RECOMMENDED.

The remote works. I needed a new remote because the down arrow on my old one quit working. I didnt have a lot of money to spend so I bought this $5 remote. It does NOT have the head phone jack or volume control and I did know that BEFORE buying it. I can still use my old controller for those functions still. My only complaint is all the buttons do not work too much better than the old controller I was replacing. I must press hard on them to make them work. At least I have all the functions needed between 2 remotes. When I get more work, I will have to buy one of those $34.99 ones to have all the functions on one controller. Or, for $39.99, I could buy a controller w/streeming stick.

I have a Roku hd 2500X and this remote works perfectly with it. You do have to aim it in the general direction of the Roku, but don't we have to do that with most remotes anyway? Had to do it with the original as well. Anywhoo, buttons are very responsive including the designated ones, Netflix, Prime, etc. Well worth the inexpensive price!

What more can I say, doesn’t do what is said on the box, disappointing!!
