JAK Industrial 6 Rolls - 2 Inch Masking Tape for General Purpose/Painting - 60 Yards per roll

You would think tape is tape, right? This is terrible! What a waste of money! I'm in the middle of a big project that requires a lot of masking tape and decided to go for the wide width and buy in bulk. Now I wish I hadn't. This doesn't even stick!! It is so time consuming and very frustrating! Back to the dollar store for the previous kind of masking tape that works 10 times better!!

I've purchased this tape twice. The first order was just fine and worked well. The second shipment wasn't the same quality. I noticed the paper was thinner, not a problem, but the adhesive was also of poorer quality. It doesn't stick well to surfaces and too easily releases when removed. I tried using multiple layers, but that didn't help.

I got these mainly for my 3d printer but here is my review. They definitly are cheaper than the brand version but the roll sticks fairly well. The rolls have that paper tape feeling. It has a similar feeling to the masking tape that amazon uses, but the tape is actually sticky and there are no strings in this tape for rienforcement. So far the tape is good for the price.

I use this stuff to tape my Perler projects before ironing and it’s wonderful. Good adhesion, awesome deal. The few times I used it for painting it was quality too!

This masking tape is perfect for painting jobs. The adhesive is even and strong, though doesn't leave a sticky residue behind, even if left for a few days. Highly recommend.
