Winter calls for soup. But, I don't have time to make it from scratch. So this handy little box fills an important needI can heat and serve straight from the box or I add some broth to make it go further.

I wasn't sure how good this would be as a light sodium soup. I've been alarmed by the sodium content in foods, that I stopped buying ANY salt in 1980!!! All I can say is that this soup is fantastic. It's filling, great on a cool day and oh so healthy. If it's made by McDougall's, don't be afraid to try it.

Miserable tasting salt water with a few lentils thrown in. I am shocked that McDougall would put his name on this garbage product. Clearly he has sold out for cash. All that salt gives the product a longer shelf life but it's not healthy. 600 MG of sodium in that box which really amounts to just one serving. It also has an institutional grade taste. This is GARBAGE and it's not healthy

Hi, this soup is another winner, a hearty heavier soup, thicker and wonderful taste. I love this one too. I have purchased three of his soups and love them all, Split Pea is the first choice for me. Please read all the reviews and make your own decision, but to have these boxed soups on hand in the pantry is just lovely. Brunch, lunch, anytime, a great pick me up, add a salad and some veggies and you are full when you leave the table! I do love his food products, just tried them. Good luck and happy shopping!
