These are just like the one that came off my car. I like changing the oil myself. I love my cars. I am glad Ford is still keeping it relatively easy for me to do. When looking on line for instructions and pointers. Someone had read to have some of these in hand before attempting oil change. I would agree. They seem like might be easier than you’d like to break. And don’t want to be stuck trying to find a ride to get one when you need it.

Went to a Big chain oil change company was leaving to go on a trip up north and was short on time..learned my lesson they overtightened this plug and leaked multiple quarts of oil on the ground before I realized it. Worst part is its the big chains policy to change all these out each use for 14.00 charge. Long story short these worked well. No more leaks and change the oil yourself. I was prob a few 100 miles from blowing up my truck to save a little time

I had a service plan with Ford that included oil changes. I just did the first oil change myself and these plugs look exactly the same as what the dealer used. No leaks

aaccoring to the oil chnage place, they could not get it to latch and lock. so the one that was removed was re-installed. rerturning these because the return time period will be exspired before I need them
