Fabrikators Skrub'a Glove, Potato, 1-Pair

I ordered these as a gift as I received them as part of a silent auction basket a couple of years ago and love them. You wear them to scrub potatoes, carrots, etc, the gloves do the scrubbing. I use them often.

Difficult to put on (too small) and didn't do what I wanted: take the "paper" off onions.A waste of money.

My man has very large hands and the loofah gloves you can find at beauty stores are really small and break on him. He hates the balls but loves the feel and clean of these gloves. They are sturdy and fit his hands great without stretching out or breaking. It is a nice gentle scrub. So as far as off label uses this is a perfect one. Hmmm probably will get another pair for potatoes :)

I was looking forward to using this glove and I'm sad it say it's "okay". I loved the concept, but the reality is it isn't worth it.

Works well, dries quickly. I prefer scrubbing to expensive veggie washes.

These gloves work well on potatoes and are a natural extension of my habitual method, which has always been to simply rub the potatoes with my hands. Will probably work on many other vegetables as well.

I have bad hands and peeling or scrubbing potatoes had become too difficult. While these don't actually peel, they do remove all the dirt and the rough outer bits of peel. They are well worth the price for me.

I don't think these gloves are effective on scrubbing. At least not if compared with a good quality hard bristle brush.So far I did not have a good experience with these gloves.UPDATE: Only used it twice and it already started to fall apart.DON'T BUY IT, WASTE OF MONEY!!!

Von dem strapazierfähigen Produkt bin ich begeistert. Unter den Handschuhen trage ich zusätzlich Gummihandschuhe und verwende sie vorallem zur Kartoffelsäuberung (Erde). Besonders eignen sie sich zur Flaumbeseitigung bei der Quittenverarbeitung oder bei schmutzigen Äpfeln, die von Apfelrost befallen sind. Diese Schmutzschicht läßt sich nach vorherigen Einweichen der Früchte gut damit beseitigen.

Das geputzte Gemüse wird sehr schnell schön sauber. Die neuen Kartoffeln lassen wunderbar von der dünnen Schale befreien.

Betreibe einen mobilen Ofenkartoffelstand und habe demzufolge täglich mit vorbereitendem Kartoffelsäubern zu tun. Dies geschah bisher per Wurzelbürste. Nun hatte ich die "Potato gloves" bestellt, um diese Tätigkeit zu optimieren. War skeptisch, als ich sie erhielt und trocken anprobierte, da sie mir als zu klein erschienen. Der erste Wasser- und umgehende Kartoffelkontakt beseitigten auf der Stelle meine Zweifel. Fantastisches Arbeiten, optimales Ergebnis (Kartoffelschale blitzblank und ohne Beschädigungen, wie es sich für eine Ofenkartoffel gehört), kein Rumgespritze wie per Bürste und der Handschuh passt sich im feuchten Zustand optimal der Handanatomie an! Ich kann diese Rubbelhandschuhe nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Sie helfen das gemüse und Kartoffeln nur durch rubbeln fast frei von sand zu machen, Kartoffeln muß man danach aber schälen, die kleinen drillinge brauchen keine weitere schälaktion
