Excellent book
I like how Terry has approached this topic with first clarifying the importance of meaning and then trying to answer the meaning of life through various eyes/ schools of thought. Very good read.

Very interesting ideas.
A little bit complex at times for a layman like me, but well worth going over a few times these meaningful explorations!

Wonder and meaningfull
I appreciate Eagleaton in literature. This is a complement with special english humor. " don't worry for the problems. Ig a botões of chateauneuf du pape vanish the misventure will also do". It is not an easy lecture, but the effort worth.

Excelent
It is very well written, it means the author has really thought deeply about the subject in a brief space. He awakes the desire to go further by reading fundamental books and thinking philosophically. Highly reccommended.

Meaning and Skepticism
This short and well written book achieves it's goal. Terry Eagleton produced a clear and well balanced essay about the meaning of life, familiarizing the reader with the different concepts, even with the ones that reject the question. The philosophy's and theology's insights are considered and related with the main question. The reader can grasp the most important facets of the problem, considering the challenges posed by this enterprise. This short introduction makes it happen!
