We made the decision to put in this filtered-water system to cut down on bottled water waste, and have not regretted it. The initial install of the system was super easy, as is replacing the filters.

I live in a modern city and our tap water tastes very bad, very chemical-like. My wife and our cat refused to drink it...until I bought a Frizzlife. On city water, my filter use is entirely opposite of what the manufacturer's web-site says. I use the 3rd stage up in a month, the 2nd stage in 4-6 months, and the 1st stage in 6+ months. I know it is time for a new 3rd stage filter when the water isn't "sweet" anymore. It isn't really sweetened sweet, but I don't how else to describe it since clean, pure water is so hard to find these days. I love the systems, but I will say my dear old wife would be unable to replace the filters due to the tight seal between the cartridge and the housing.

All good, but for more peace of mind, add a meter to your filtration so you know how many gallons you've gone through. Helps knowing when to change your filters
