Ringke Onyx Compatible with iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8 Plus Case Extreme Tough Brushed Metal Texured Design Cover - Mist Gray

Ringke is fast turning out to be my favorite case manufacturer. So far I've purchased the Slim, Fusion and Onyx for my iPhone7, Note 4 and Huawei Mate 8 phones.For the last 3 years, I have been a BIG Spigen fan. So much so that I have turned my family members and many friends onto to Spigen as well. Slim Armor, Tough Armor, Air Cushion, Neo Hybrid... you name it, I've purchased them for the iPhone5S, iPhone6 and 6Plus, Galaxy S4, Nexus 6 and Galaxy Note 4. Must be more than 20 cases. But their designs have somehow turned out to be boring to me now.So I decided to try out this Onyx from RIngke. Online, it appeared to be a not-too-bulky case that would offer protection from most everyday mishaps, from scuffs and scrapes to minor drops and falls. It surely has fulfilled my expectations.The edges are nicely textured and provide a lot of grip when holding in hand. The buttons are slightly raised and are easily identified by feel only and are easy to push. Cutouts are accurately done and will allow for aftermarket lightning cables that might be larger than OEM. That brushed metal-look back is quite well done, with a both a premium look and feel. The simulated carbon fiber adds a modern touch, but not over done.The case itself is flexible but fits the phone snugly. The TPU is thick enough to provide adequate protection without adding additional unnecessary bulk. I do not hesitate to recommend this case.

This is my second purchase as I got a new phone & upgraded to the plus & my old case didn’t fit anymore. The price is great and I love the case...it’s durable (I dropped my last phone and the phone itself was completely fine thanks to the case except it landed on something which pushed the home button in so that’s the only reason it got replaced) and it is a nice, durable alternative if you don’t want a bulky otterbox. It covers the sides of the phone and has a bumper (it could be a little higher but it does it’s job and protects the screen), and it has little grips on the side to help with holding the phone. The back of the case is a little slippery but I have one of those little stick on holders that is shaped like a ring so I don’t drop the phone with my arthritic hands & I think that has made it adhere better. Plus it’s very easy to clean & doesn’t leave smudges or anything. I really hope this company doesn’t stop making this case!

The sides have textured finish which helps provide better grip.5. The brushed metal-like finish at the back is OK and the fiberglass finish linings also look great6. Easy to put on the phone and easy to take out as well.7. The tactile buttons are well-made, easy to control the volume rocker and the power button.8. The lightning port at the bottom is easy to access and the holes are accurately cut out.Overall a great product with a reasonable price.

This is a great case depending on what you expect from it.Pros: It's very inexpensive and it looks extremely classy and elegant. It's a beautiful looking case. The buttons are responsive, the port cutouts are big enough, and there is a lip on the front of the case for lay on the table design. Additionally, the bottom of the case is symmetrical and well protected (i.e. this is not a hybrid 6S/7 case).Cons: It seems a little on the light side for drop protection. It would feel nervous dropping this phone more than a few feet with this case. Don't get me wrong, it would be better than no case at all, but it doesn't match up with the more protective cases out there. You will either love or hate the grip depending on how you hold your phone. It has a ridged sloped back grip which feels kind of strange to me, but on the other hand its awesome if you like to have the phone fall back in your hand and cradle it. But on the other hand, if you are not careful the phone could easily slip out of your hands if you turn it upside down since the sloped ridge doesn't give you a good grip if the phone is facing downwards. You can compensate this by holding the phone by the lip, but you have to be mindful to do that or the phone could go flying out of your hand.All in all, I see this as more of a cosmetic case than a general purpose protective case. It would look awesome at a business meeting or at an expensive restaurant on a date. It offers low level protection and I have mixed feelings about the grip.

This is a nice affordable case. it looks and feels great, and snugly securely fits the iphone 7 plus. the side buttons function flawlessly; the manufactures relief cut around the long axis side of the buttons so they are super squishy on the case, this translates to very clear and distinct button pressing through the case. the silent switch is also easily accessible through the cutout. this case looks and feels great and for that price you cannot go wrong.I was mildly concerned about how well the rear facing camera would be protected on the iphone 7 plus as the camera sticks out further than the rear plate of the phone, the case is thicker on the back than this protrusion meaning that the camera does not touch flat surfaces when in this case. i still do not recommend dropping it if at all possible; to protect the camera from being scratched. That said unless you intend to conceal the phone in a bulky box, this will be a concern with any sleek case. This case is awesome, buy without fear.

This case fits the iPhone 7 plus perfectly. The case is lightweight, but also feels solid and clearly protects the phone. It also is easy to hold onto and is not bulky. I appreciate that they designed it to protect the screen with a nice lip AND a similar lip to protect the camera lens. You can set it down without worrying you are going to damage the camera or the screen. I bought a few different cases when I pre-ordered the 7 plus, and this was the only case I didn't return.

Es posiblemente la mejor funda de TPU que he tenido en mis manos, me gustan mucho los case de Ringke, son de excelente calidad y precios accesibles, tuve el modelo “fusión” totalmente transparente en un iPhone 6 Plus, en aquel entonces no era muy resistente al amarillamiento de ese material, pero no tendré ese problema con este modelo y tengo entendido que ya hay una segunda generación de tpu transparente más resistente.Los acabados de esta funda son realmente de alta calidad y muchas fundas chinas imitan de mala manera este estilo, en el que se simula acero cepillado y fibra de carbono, en verdad que lo logran muy bien en esta funda.El color gris le sienta muy al iPhone silver en modelos 7 plus y anteriores, también al 8 plus blanco. La cereza del pastel es que a este precio es una ganga total.

Product is exactly what you expect. However it is not a soft touch material. It is hard plastic. Seems durable enough.

La funda original de Apple cuesta casi cuatro veces más y pareciera que está fabricada para absorber la suciedad, además de que se fue maltratando bastante al mes de usarla.A un mes de usar la funda Ringke no hay un sólo problema que mencionar. Encaja perfecto, no se llena de suciedad, no se ha fracturado o roto. Elimina cualquier posibilidad de que el iPhone se te resbale de la mano. Es de las pocas fundas en Amazon que se ven elegantes, sin miles de colores y transparencias.Aunque sí se ve muy resistente ante caídas, no he hecho la prueba si resiste golpes (y espero no llegar a comprobar ese punto).

Very sleek and modern!

Soy un mega fan de las fundas Ringke, ya con esta tengo 4 en mi colección y es de mis favoritas.La funda tiene un gran nivel de acabados, pese a ser de TPU y en una sola pieza, tiene un acabado muy elegante imitando acero cepillado que se ve muy genial, en el color que sea. Yo pedí la Midnight Blue, puesto que todas las demás fundas que tengo son color negras y estoy encantado, el nivel de detalles de la funda es impecable, la calidad va de la mano también, no esperaría menos de una funda Ringke, el contorno de la parte de atrás que rodea el acabado cepillado es imitación de fibra de carbono, lo que le da un toque aún más genial.El contorno de la funda tiene un acabado rugoso que le da un mejor agarre al teléfono en cualquier circunstancia, aunque a veces no es tan cómodo como parece, en especial si estás acostumbrado a las fundas con contorno redondo ad hoc con el diseño del iPhone, pero se siente bien, te sientes seguro de tener el celular en la mano.La funda es fantástica para el uso diario, la parte de atrás queda cubierta en su totalidad, y la cámara tiene buena protección por el alce del contorno de la funda, por lo que puedes poner el iPhone en cualquier superficie sin temor a que se raye el lente, lo mismo con la parte frontal, resiste golpes de uso diario sin ningún problema, por lo que si estás buscando una funda para uso cotidiano sin querer gastar tanto o usar fundas que convierten tu iPhone en un tanque, además de no querer gastar mucho, esta funda es para ti.El acabado de los botones es bastante sorprendente porque tienen un tacto en el que sientes que estás presionando el botón de tu iPhone, con la misma suavidad incluso, no tienes que presionarlo de más, ni mucho menos, todo se siente natural.La recomiendo en gran medida, 5 estrellas más para Ringke.
