There is no experience needed to install this system I would recommend it to everyone
Vinker T-01A DIY Kit 99 Zones Wireless Home and Office Security Alarm SystemWe purchased the Vinker home security system and within 2 hours we had the system up and running, we had used all 10 door and window sensors leaving us just short by 1 sensor, we did not want to purchase more until we really had gotten to try out the system first.I must say we are very impressed with this system, and seeing as how we were short 1 door and window sensor we ordered another total system seeing as how it was so reasonably priced just to have extra components for backup. There is no experience needed to install this system I would recommend it to everyone. We couldn't be happier!!!!!We give this Vinker system a 5 STAR *****Mark and Dawn

excellent tech support
I just purchased this system and so will update this review down the line, but I am very impressed with it thus far! It offers a lot at a very economical price. It contains two to three times the number of sensors that much more expensive products contain, so you are likely to have all you need right from the start. The enclosed instructions are a little too spare, but that is OK because they do include an email address you can use to request tech support. They responded quickly to multiple questions, and were very helpful in guiding me through the set up process. In addition they will email you a more extensive and detailed pdf product manual.A nice feature of this product is that if the alarm goes off, you can have an alert sent to multiple different phone numbers. (a caveat here is that if the first phone alarm message is answered, the alerts to the other phone numbers are cancelled and not sent). Recommend!

First, the system does work. There are some ...
First, the system does work. There are some issues that the manufacturer needs to address. The instruction manual states that the system can be armed from the main panel by pressing the alarm button for 1 second. This sounds the emergency alarm and does not arm the system. The system can only be armed using the remote, as was explained when I e-mailed their tech support, who did respond in a timely manner. I don't understand the four digit code that you program into the system. The instructions say something about security when programming, but it seems you can program without it. The code will neither arm or disarm the system. You can disarm the system from the main panel, this would help if you didn't have your remote handy, and had programmed a delay into the entry alarm. Lastly, the window and door sensors come with the batteries installed, and the batteries are small. I think that if you use a door a lot, the battery might not last long.

A travesty. The worst purchase I have ever made.
The media could not be loaded. I have purchased hundreds of items on Amazon over the past few years, and I have never been more disappointed in a purchase. I set this up all over my home, on every door and window, only to have the LCD Display flip out and start beeping and flashing. Because of this malfunction, I can't press any buttons, I can't reset it. I can't do anything. I am tech savvy. I have spent the last two hours doing every type of troubleshooting possible without opening it up and rewiring it. If you are looking for a security system, this is the worst possible choice. I see that some others have had success with it, but how do you know if you'll get a malfunctioning unit? Or when it will malfunction? Stay away from this.

Cannot beat the system for the price...I tried.
This is a steal for anyone looking for a home alarm system but don't want to pay those ridiculous monitoring companies. The alarm is very loud and if you have neighbors, this will definitely let them know something is wrong. Setup was very easy. The system calls you or any other phone number you set up. You have to have a land line but for the few bucks a month you pay for one, get it. I bought two complete systems because it was cheaper to go that route and get everything that comes with it. Now I have a spare panel and alarm. The one and only thing I don't like about this is, you cannot set up two panels to work together. I believe you can set up one sensor on two system pads (haven't tried but someone else said you can) but they don't run together. That is a minor flaw but oh well. Another "flaw" according to some people is the voice coming from the system panel. It's hard to understand what the voice is saying on some things but if you are setting up the system, you know what it is saying and if a sensor goes off, you obviously know what it is saying. If a sensor goes off in the middle of the night, you won't care what the panel is saying because as soon as you hear the alarm, you're jumping out of your bed to find out what is going on anyway. Thank you Vinker for making an affordable, working alarm system.**Update**I set up both key pads to use all of the remotes and the sensors. I basically had to set up the system twice (once on each keypad) but both of the keypads now work with everything. Kind of a pain but it gets the job done and I am extremely satisfied and happy with the product.

Good Basic Alarm System
Good basic alarm system - not for linking to the internet, but provides good, basic protection for your house or areas/rooms in your home. Besides a loud alarm the system also links through your phone line to up to 5 telephone numbers; however, the system stops at the first of the 5 numbers to answer. Still it does provide a 'basic' monitoring of your house and capability to call your cell-phone, family member or neighbor, in addition to a loud alarm.

Don't waste your money!
I should of done more research but I thought it was a good deal. The motion detectors keep going off by itself even after putting them in higher places as directed. Tried charging them for 24 hours and re-mounted them. They worked for a few hours then started to sound off again when nothing is there or around to trigger it. Also the sensors are delayed because the lady says "Defense Area Alarm", then the siren goes off after the door or window has already been open. This system has become very annoying and I am very disappointed with this product.
