So every body responds differently to our devices. The main difference between the Equitonic 9 and the Infratonic 9 is that each device was designed with a specific neurology in mind. The sound waves emitted from the Equitonic 9 are more consistent with the neurology of animals, whereas the sound waves emitted from the Infratonic 9 are more consistent with human neurology. 
 
Whereas the Equitonic 9 emits sound waves almost entirely within the alpha frequency range, the Infratonic 9 emits sound waves in the alpha, beta, and gamma frequency ranges. Used on a human, the Equitonic 9 has a relaxing effect that some would describe as excessive, to the point of being sedating. 
 
We recommend buying an Infratonic 9 for yourself and an Equitonic 9 for your animal companions, as each unit was designed with a different neurology in mind.
