Completely satisfactory
"I have quite a large lawn (around 300 meters square) so I needed a pump which would conserve water and pressurize the sprinkler.I bought a high-pressure type (max 150PS1) but after installation I felt it provided high pressure but minimal flow. The pump kept on working even after the lawns had sufficient water, so I have to actually remove the power plug to turn it off. If I left it on, it would just flood the lawn. The pressure switch doesn’t stop the pump. So I thought initially the pressure switch was broken, so I asked the seller to find a solution and be aware of the problem. My irrigation system is about 6L per minute at normal flux, and my old pump had a maximum flow of 5L. This means there is no pressure accumulation in the pipeline. The water has already been all sprayed so the pump can't automatically switch off.So I purchased this 40PSI 17L/minute pump and it works well! The water pressure and spray is suitable for my lawn irrigation and the switch will regulate the pump to start and stop based on the pressure. It starts and stops quite frequently but at least now the soil has time to absorb the moisture. If this pump can adjust the flow, it would be perfect."

Handy but unreliable, electronic failure ruins a good product.
This is a convenient little pump to deliver a small quantity of water at usable pressure. Easy to connect to 1/2" plastic fittings. I put it on a shallow well for temporary service. It runs about a minute to fill a toilet tank. The noise for this diaphragm pump is noticeable, not high volume, but sounds like a small compressor turning on. And it sputters louder when reaching pressure and shutting off.Seemed great, but after a couple months of using it once or twice a week it quit running. I assumed the thermal protection quit. I tried to contact the seller about how to reset it or repair, both here and in email, and got no response.Too bad, I cannot recommend the pump or the seller. The pressure switch is on the front of the pump. In my case, the circuitry in the back where the cord goes in failed. I tried to contact seller here on Amazon and by direct email and they did not respond. So I opened the back to check it out. Circuit board looks burned. Perhaps it was not soldered correctly or the components not heavy enough. Not sure if it can be repaired, but a consumer should not have to do that. The engineering seems flawed in an otherwise great product.

Good reliable pump
I use it to pump maple sap from two 55-gallon drums into three 16 -gallon stockpots to cook down and make maple syrup the pump works great I really like the built-in pressure switch, so I don't have to unplug it every time I use the pump. This is a very good water pump.

The diaphragm pump is easy to assemble and use and very sturdy.
I use this pump to transport and pressurize a 50-gallon rain barrel and water my garden. It took about 20 minutes to replace my 5 years old pump and to add in some new design features. Both ends of the pump are attached with about 10 feet 3/4" of tubing. The fittings were sent with the pump, so there are no leakage problems. I had emailed the seller before and they suggested I install a filter on the pump inlet to prevent large debris getting in, because sucking the debris into the pump may lead to damage (I guess my old pump was damaged for this reason). The rubber pad at the bottom of the pump is wider than the original one. I feel there is less vibration than before, I can pretty much ignore it. My only complaint is I’d like to have metal threaded connectors, because it’s easy to break the plastic thread if you screw too hard. In addition, I connected a 20-foot hose with sprinkler to the rain barrel. When I closed the sprinkler, the pressure switch would automatically cut off the pump power! That’s amazing and I love it. I was going to wash the car if the weather was fine, but my 8-year-old son seemed to prefer to play it with the dog! Will get around to it soon!

Does a Great Job, BUT. . .
This is an update to my previous review. Guess I should have read the earlier 1 star ratings by others. The first pump I had lasted 2 years. This new one, that I just bought in January, lasted 3 months, and quit without any warning. There are no leaks, no gasket issues, just quit. Manufacturing quality control must have gone down substantially. Now, when I look at/for the Warranty, it says to contact the manufacturer directly, but no contact information is provided, so I guess if I want to pursue this with the manufacturer, it is up to me to research further. No wonder the previous model warranty was extended. This one should be too by the looks of things.Going to look for a different brand. Once is shame on you, twice is shame on me, and I won't be struck out! This thing is a champ. Exactly what was needed for a fresh water pila tank. I read some of the reviews, and was concerned about the noise, but based on where we have it located, it is not even an issue. It does move, but you need to understand that this is a little giant that moves water only when needed, so it should not be a surprise. It can be bolted down, like we have done, and then it does not move around. If I had to replace this, I would definitely purchase it again. We installed this about 50 feet away from the house; in a garage. You would never know that it is that far away OR that small of a unit because once you turn the water on, it is no different pressure than if you got the water directly from the city. It is a mighty little giant.
