Unspoken Paperback – November 6, 2014

I've just loved the story of Brady and Palmer. Sometimes your hurt and rejection is so deep that you just want to get away from it and Brady just ran away from Palmer without thinking clearly. She on the other hand is in so much pain about her mother's illness and don't want to hold Brady back from realizing his dream of rebuilding his business. But fate, and a bit of manipulation from a friend, had them crossing paths again. Their passion flares up again but deep down they realize that it's much more than that. However, Brady's hurt about the past and Palmer's struggle with her responsibilities made them reluctant to face the truth about their feelings. It is also a heartfelt story about having to care for a disabled person as well as saying goodbye to a much loved parent who is dying of cancer. You can feel Palmer's heartache and anguish and I cried with her as she spent her mother's last days with her. And even in the final pages of the book you can still feel how much she misses her mom. An excellent read.

I laughed, cried and was emotionally spent after reading this book. It took me a few days to gather my thoughts.A second chance at love for Palmer and Brady after many words were not spoken. Palmer made the difficult decision to let Brady start over and build his construction business while she was needed to care for her family members. After a year apart, Brady and Palmer are working together on a new construction project. Can Brady and Palmer reconcile after finding out the reasons for breaking their engagement? This story hit close to home for me since I had recently lost my sister to the same illness as Janelle. I felt every emotion which was to be conveyed by the author. Job well done Brenda Rothert!

received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review and I must say WOW, I've loved all of this authors books but Unspoken shot straight to my heart and connected the deepest. this story is gripping, heartbreaking, core-shaking and gut-wrenching but it's also sweet, soul-healing and breathtaking. Brenda Rothert delivers again with this story of a love that will not end, even when tested with the toughest life can give. this is everything I look for in a book, ugly cry and all.

Very predictable story. They are in love, break up, forced to work together, and in the end get back together. My problem with the story is that if the H truly loves the h, cares about her mom and brother, when h says she wants to postpone their wedding, not cancel it, H just breaks off their relationship. He doesn't ask her any questions, doesn't want to know why she wants to postpone the wedding? Really he just ends it? He hears that her mom is sick and still just stays away. Then when they start working together, they have sex, repeatedly. But he does it in a way to humiliate her and she is fine with that. There are other times when he is wonderful, very caring with her mom and brother, so I guess it just didn't make sense to me.

This was such a great book! I am a HUGE reader, and when I read the author's other book, His, I knew that I needed to check out her other books. This book was so much more than I ever imagined. It holds a special place in my heart, which very few books hold that privilege. Anyone who wants an amazing romance read with true emotions that pull at the heart, this book is for you! This book is so well written that it could have been a true story. The characters are so developed and realistic, I LOVE IT!!! Will definitely be reading this book again soon!

Palmer and Brady have so many individual obstacles coming at them that they try to protect each other from these problems. Unfortunately, in doing this, their wedding gets called off and they go about their lives without each other. A year later, when they are forced to work together, nothing has changed. The chemistry is still there along with the deep hurt that they have caused due to breaking up.I believe Brady explains it best when he says…“The things people should say to each other but don’t can be more toxic than the cruelest of words.”Palmer and Brady were very well developed characters, and the entire story felt so real. The journey these two take to get back to each other is long, difficult, heartbreaking and so worth it in the end.Brenda Rothert keeps getting better and better with each new book. Thank you Brenda for another fantastic book!!

So incredible! Everything about this book was incredible. This book has it all...heartache, pain, lust, love, passion, angst, forgiveness, and writing that literally brought me to tears a couple times. Not to mention an incredibly sexy cover!!! I am a HUGE Brenda Rothert fan and have read pretty much all of her books. This is another fabulous novel to add to my growing list of favorites from her. Palmer and Brady are two characters that you will instantly fall in love with. The story flows along at a nice steady pace and I devoured it in one sitting. The chemistry between these two was so intense and well written. You will be fanning yourself for sure. I cannot say enough great things about this book. If you love a good sexy romance this is for you!

No doubt this is a 5***** rating. I smiled, laughed, held my breath numerous times....Finished reading it in 24 hours. Well, I did sleep during that time, but you get the jist of it. Did not want to sleep so I could finish it. And finish it I did. Wow! Brady & Palmer are two extraordinary characters that you will Love. Just like I did!! Awesome book Brenda Rothert!!

What an amazing and beautiful book!! Did I think Brady was a bit of an idiot at times? Yes. He tended to lash out rather than thinking things through but what I loved is the way he realises his mistakes and tries to make it right. 100% must read!!Also I lil note to Brenda - the notes section and just wanted give you a lil internet cuddle and let you know I'm sorry to hear this happened to your dad too. After just reading the whole book in ine sitting and then reading that -'it bought a lump to my throat best wishes xxxxx

I really enjoyed this book and felt it was one of Brenda Rothert's strongest. The main characters were really likable although fallible. I honestly couldn't put it down and read through the night. I really liked that there was a substantial story in addition to a great romance. I read it a few months ago now but have gone back to it for a re-read when I am in between book :-). Enjoy!

Brenda has done it again. Loved this book. It spoke to me on so many levels. There are lots of twists and turns in the book and the two main characters Brady & Palmer you have you laughing and crying both. Would highly recommend you read this.

No less than five stars for this book I took the advice of another reader and had the tissues handy it was really a good book with a great story line loved the characters keep up the good work Brenda

Another brilliant book by Brenda Rothert!! A Beautiful story, heart-wrenching at times, romantic, sexy, everything I love in a great read!! This author never fails, and I will be waiting for her next book!!
