This is a replacement fan for RCA Blue-Ray disc player, ten years old. The other fan motor aged well but was becoming noisy, even after adding copper grease. This is a perfect fit. Arrived SO quickly. Such a good deal that I ordered two in case another media player fan needs fixing.

These fans work great in RC car applications. Even with all the dirt and dust that gets thrown at it. I’ve soldered these fans to 7.2 NiMH and 7.4 LiPO batteries and they work great in both applications. I simply use a Dremel tool to cut at square out of the RC car body, and hot glue this fan into the square hole cut out. Then I cut the connector off and solder in a male and female set to connect to my car. My only constructive criticism is to possibly include (or make available for purchase) the corresponding mating connector of the one that is already connected to these fans. I would gladly pay for that option as it would save time with having to install new connectors.

The fans are just too loud, but if you want to use these in an environment where sound is not an issue, then these are great for the price.

The media could not be loaded. So these do move a decent amount of air, however they make way too much noise while doing it. Using a sound meter on my phone, I measured 50 dB of sound, compared to 30 dB from the fan that came stock. It sounds like a miniature leaf blower. I would not recommend this for any use where you would be bothered by the noise, including indoor electronics and 3D printers. Additionally, the cord on this was too short for most uses.

Good fit. Easy install to replace a dead fan in my security camera DVR system. I was surprised at how loud they were, though. If that could be an issue for you, I would look for a fan that has published specs on the decibel levels and make sure you can tolerate that.

Works great in the Galaxy 98vhp. Works great in the General 40HP. Works in the Galaxy 94HP. And many other radios with the same setup on the bottom (amp). Moves more air. Fairly quiet.

The fan is a perfect replacement for a similar fan with a bad bearing in my audio receiver. Bought the two pack in case it happens again. The receiver is cheap, but these fans are much less expensive. I will update my review if these fans have a short life span.
