Best Bun Brush! Completely worth every penny.
This product is a scientific revolution. In a single grooming session I have managed to remove enough fur from my Netherlands Dwarf to create a clone! Her "shedding" periods have always been a bit of a nightmare for me. She has such fine fur, in a never ending supply, that I didn't think I'd ever find an appropriate grooming tool. Grooming was impossible. When I tried removing fur from one spot, it would be like pulling the rainbow scarf from a magician's sleeve - kept going with no indication it was at its end! Not only did she have a horrid appearance (loose fur constantly hanging to her or coming off if she rubbed against anything) but my vacuum was losing the battle of the carpet. While I just received this product today and have used it for no more than 20 minutes I had to give a review. I am very happy with it. Though a second grooming session is in order in the near future, I can already see results. My bunbuns fur is no more a disarray of gray but is the initial sleek black she was meant to be.If you are a rabbit owner with fur problems, this is a must. (Be sure your rabbit should be brushed first). While the fur eject doesn't seem to work for my bun's fur as it is super plush, the brush itself is totally worth it. It is gentle yet efficient. Even though my bun hates to be handled, she allowed me to use this brush on her. My only regret is I have not found this product sooner. You can see the large pile of fur in the attached photo (and my bun chilling in the back)

No gimmick! This thing is awesome!!
The best "brush" ever!Seriously, not a gimmick. Works awesome when held at a slight angle. We have a Dutch, Lionhead/English Spot mix Rabbit and a domestic short hair cat. This removes all the shedding under coat and leaves them soft and shiny. Both bunnies and the cat absolutely love it. Its worth spending a few more bucks on, imo.We have the small brush and works well for cats and rabbits. Would geg the larger one for dogs or longhair/larger cats.

Wonderful brush for chinchillas
This is another version of the wonderful Furminator, just a smaller version for little fuzzbutts- I use mine for my chinchillas. If you have never had chinchillas, they have the softest fur ever, but it is super thick; each follicle has many hairs coming out of it, with a really thick undercoat. This undercoat usually only sheds a couple times a year, but I have a chinchilla that did not get that memo, and he sheds NONSTOP, and his beautiful white fur gets everywhere. He is also blind, so a simple brushing is very scary for him, so I have had lots of trouble finding a safe brush that will work for his fur and not hurt him when he whips around trying to figure out what I am doing to him, so the Furminator is perfect. It takes out tons of fur at a time, and doesn't hurt him at all. I just wish the handle was a bit shorter, because it is a bit hard to maneuver, but it still does a great job the way it is.

Wouldn't recommend anything else!
I have a Jersey Wooly and a larger Jersey mix that shed like crazy. I resorted to petting them while using the Dyson because they hated the slicker and the brush. As soon as I received the FURminator, I went to town on the buns. After some apprehension at the start, the buns laid down and rather enjoyed themselves. The brush felt rather sharp to the touch, so I was very careful. Some reviewers have noted that this brush is rather small. While this is smaller than a usual slicker, it's small size made it easy to go around the curves of the bunny without pulling too much. The ejection button is useless but I didn't even realize it was there until after I was done with one bun and working on the other. Just pull the fur out with your fingers. Do yourself a favor and buy this brush for your medium and long haired buns. It will save your sanity from finding their magnetic hair everywhere.

works well
Its important to know that you can't really press hard while using this product. If you use it on yourself you will notice it is rather harsh with force. If you use it on your animal make sure to watch for signs that they are not enjoying it as it most likely means you are pressing to hard with it. Even lightly pulled across my rabbits coat it is effective at catching and removing the loose fur and leaves him with a feel. The piece designed to push fur off of the edge is not really effective so expect to hand pull the fur off, not a big deal. The other aspect is that my rabbit seems to want to chew on the rubber handle, which is no fault of the product but something to be mindful of if you are a rabbit owner.

Works for me!
It took me a little while to figure out how to properly use this... in the beginning I wasn't sure if I was using it correctly because I didn't get much fur on the brush;it was easier to just pull loose hair by hand. But after a day or two, it became easier and more effective :) I have a 5# bunny, and I wonder if the one for cats would have been a better size for him. Small size comb helps to brush his tummy and leg areas, but his has a big butt and it takes forever to brush....especially because the tooth of the comb is short. Anyways it helped a lot when my bunny was excessively shedding and it made his fur looked so much nicer! 4 stars because of price... :,(

De-Furring....one inch at a time!
If you have a teeny dog who sheds... this is the tool for you. I found the actual tool very handy and it did remove a mountain of hair from my dog but I ordered the incorrect size for my 10 pound short-haired dachshund. I think this is a Goldilocks case where the small is too small and the large is too large for my dog because I ordered the large size and it's waaaayyyy big. I have found that I can get into the tiny spots (like armpit areas) with this small one but use the larger one for more body coverage. It's a great tool though...if you are brushing a hamster. Otherwise, get a larger size!

Great for bunny hair
The media could not be loaded. I use both the hair buster and the furminator and compared to the former, this is far better. Even after a multitude of brushes with the hair buster it never seems to get all the hair. The furminator takes off the under coat and my bunnies are very happy when they’re brushed with it. I use the hair buster first then go in with the furminator.

Expected more
It does the job of taking fur out without cutting the skin, but only of you use it gently and the blade too small to catch much fur so you basically need 3 hands to use it, especially if your pet isn't sitting still by itself! One hand to use the brush, one to take the fur off the blade (because that button is not really helpfull and you have fur flying around) and another hand to hold the pet.It is easy to use along the back but every other curve of the animal is rather hard work. Maybe it works well with bigger aninmals, but for my bunny I prefer the cheap old brush I had before (and my bunny does too) that took only a few strokes to get most fur and keep it in the brush too. Even using my hands to take loose fur out is faster.I wouldn't spend that money again.

Best brush ever!
I've had four different brushes in the past and I replaced all of them with this single brush. The grip and material of this brush is made with great quality. This brush should last you a lifetime. It also makes grooming a breeze. Just be careful not to over groom in one spot or your pet will get balding patches. At first I thought it was too small but it's perfect for pets under 5 lbs. Great for short haired bunnies like Netherland Dwarf and Holland Lops. I would prefer using something else for double mane lionhead.

the cats tolerate or like it depending on the amount of Greenie treats involved ...
I was skeptical but desperate... this product really does what it says it will!!!! The amount of fur that came out of my cats was astonishing... the cats tolerate or like it depending on the amount of Greenie treats involved with the furminating. My big lesson - do 2 to 5 mins max at a time - if I go for 10 or 15 - they will get FED up.My house will be much much nicer and so will my clothes thanks to furminator - it was a very worthwhile investment.
