Bought 2017 still works
I bought this back in 2017 and it's still working good. I love the vibration and the Alarm as I have a hearing impairment.

BEST flashing timer out there!
Let me start off by saying that I'm an esthetician and I work in a spa. I like to keep track of my time with timers but they would always cause disruption when they'd go off and ruin the relaxing atmosphere. I had been on the hunt for a unique timer, one that doesn't beep or vibrate when it goes off, but would flash instead. I KNEW one had to exist and this is it! This timer is amazing, it has 3 modes to alert you when done: beeping, buzzing, and flashing. You can set all three modes at once or just two at once or just one, making it customizable. There is an option to do minute and seconds or hours and minutes. Also when the timer goes off, it continues to count time so you can see how much time you went over. When you stop the timer it automatically resets to the time you set so you dont have to sit there pressing buttons. They take 2 AAA batteries and aren't big and bulky. Totally worth the price because there is nothing like it, believe me I searched! I bought it for the flash feature and am absolutely LOVING it when I do spa treatments on my clients that I even bought two of them. It's been about 6 months and they are working wonderfully. So happy I found this!

Great Full-Feature Timer
Great timer! Has everything one could want---minutes/seconds, hours/minutes. Easy to set, nice appearance, nice ring tone, light, vibrator. Also has a clip so you can take it with you and a magnet so you can keep it near the stove. Best one that has all these features!

How noisy do you want it??
Being a bit hard of hearing, high frequencies seem to escape my attention, so most timers like this just don't do it for me. These were no exception. I have a hard time hearing the ringing unless I am quite near them and am facing them when they go off. Could have been very disappointing. However, these have the added attraction of also having a small flashing light and a strong vibration. I have found that if I place them on a plate or a metal or plastic base or even almost any hard surface, the vibration really gets my attention. I really do recommend these if hearing the high pitched ring of most timers escapes you. These might really meet your needs. They do meet mine.

So far, so good
Years ago, I bought a timer that had heaps of functions I wanted, like a five minute warning. When you have something with lots of functions that you don't use every day, however, you forget how to use it. It came with a large page of instructions in tiny print. Also, for some reason, the batteries drained quickly even when it wasn't being used regularly. Battery life is important, so it's a little early for me to review this, but as my headline says, so far, so good. I'm using it as a meditation timer (time for me to get back into that) and I wanted something that would do it by light—for me, meditating while knowing that at any second a loud alarm is going to go off produces enough anxiety to cancel out the benefits of meditating. In the mid 1980s while I was living in Japan I stayed at a place that had a true cascading alarm. I say "true" to distinguish from the ones I find in America, for which "cascading" means frequency of the sound, not the volume. There are better meditation timers than this one, but their prices are exorbitant. I'm using the light as the alarm on this and if you position it right it's bright enough for closed eyes to register, though outside on a sunny day that wouldn't hold true. The most negative review I've seen here on this one is the one that says it's "junk" because the buttons are too easy to press for it to be carried in a pocket while in use. That may be true, but the clip is strong enough for it to be attached to clothing or even the bill of a cap. Small criticism: The switches on the back you use to determine which mode it will use for the alarm are very small and fingernail dependent. Those of us with "man hands" my have a little trouble with them, but unless you're changing the settings often this shouldn't detract from your experience with this timer.

Love the silent/visual feature!!!
I have ADHD and focusing on a task can be a challenge. This timer has been a huge help, especially when it comes to a work task that I may be dreading. I set my timer for 30/45/60 minutes, and commit to focus. Anytime I start to be drawn off task, I look at my timer and know that I’ve got a “brain break” coming up in x number of minutes. The silent and visual feature is great because it doesn’t disturb anyone else in the office. It would be great to use at home too because the timer is plenty loud if you turn the sound on. Love that it’s magnetic, love that it has a stand, live everything about it! Super intuitive and easy to use. Would totally buy again and absolutely recommend!

Not for nights
Vibration setting too loud for use on night shift, otherwise good product.

Worth Every Penny.
I bought one several years ago. I must have dropped it 20 times because I clip it to my pants while working around the house and want to remind myself that I have something in the oven. Each time it hits the floor, I expect the batteries to come flying out and the thing to break. It doesn't. It loves abuse. I bought a second one so I can have one on the fridge and one when I'm in the yard. Loud, persistent, flashes, and vibrates like crazy--the perfect timer for an old man.
