Tea Cozies 4

Darling patterns...but
I own all 4 books. I decided to sit down with the first book and knit one of the patterns (Strawberries and Cream). No matter how I tried, I could not make the math work. The stitch and row counts just did not make sense. I found the web site of the publisher but there was no errata posted, so I sent an email to the company. They sent me a link to the PDF for the errata...almost every pattern contained errors, and the Strawberries and Cream pattern had its own PDF, that's how erroneous it was! I am pleased with the way the pattern ultimately turned out and as I mention in the title of the post, the patterns are adorable. Just understand that you may need to contact the company if you start one of the patterns. I will say, however, that the response from the company was quick and they were very helpful, so if something goes cockeyed with one of them, you will be able to find the corrections if you ask.

A good follow up to Tea Cozies 1 2 and 3
Some patterns are spectacular. They are easy to follow. There are some crocheted cozies to try. A good selection of shapes and sizes - useful for all types and shapes of teapots and they are extremely eye catching. The patterns are diverse enough for all tastes. Well done. These are a series of well put together books with wonderful illustrations and instructions.Enjoy!

Fabulous collection of tea cosy patterns
This collection, the fourth in a series of tea cosy pattern books keeps up the high standard of the earlier works. It is an endlessly fascinating collection of exciting tea cosies. As well as knitted patterns, there are several crocheted patterns, a felted pattern, and one which makes use of cross stitch. There is something to suit everyone here, whether their taste is for the outlandish (Pumpkin, Tea Roses), the traditional (Colourful Cables, Harlequin), the cheeky (Owl, Plum Pudding) or the adventurous (Nurse, Cupcake Stand). The photography is excellent, and the range of colours used in the sample tea cosies is enticing. The patterns, as previously, are very accessible and should be within the range of most knitters or crocheters. More inclusion of measurements of the finished product would make the patterns even more useful. Good tips and pattern notes are included in some of the patterns. As before, the Contents page is particularly good, featuring a thumbnail picture of each tea cosy. The section on techniques is again included and is always useful. In all, this is an excellent addition to the knitting library

Absolutely bonkers (but in a good way)
This is a great book. It fills the need for retro cosies, some are absolutely bonkers (but in a good way). If you lived near a tea room type establishment I'm sure they would welcome any one of these cosies. It's a good chance to use up all the odds and ends of wool left over from previous projects as well.
