headline for my review
Hard to keep centered on the seat. The material is decent. Wish it had a strap that went around the back of the seat.

won't win any beauty contests but economically gets the job done
Probably like most people, I bought 2 of the frontseat covers and 1 of the matching benchseat backseat version. They were shipped instantaneously, almost as if materiallizing across dimensions. That was good, but I would not call them deluxe either aesthetically or in terms of craftmanship. Even though the photos make them resemble a sheepskin (probably no accident), in fact they are basically flat textured, sort of like a sad wornout towel whose loops are all gone flat, and also in shape the whole thing is not so much poncho-like as rather blob-like. Actually to the untrained eye they may look like a big diaper. But. The driver side one, which obviously gets the most action, perversely will not quit folding in half under my shoulder seatbelt, and the snaps that fasten the opposing sides of the elastic under the headrest (to hold the whole thing on) also tend to keep unsnapping whenever you sit down or reach for something or inflict any stress. So you find you do some sliding. But these technical difficulties aside, they very generously cover the seats of a 2014 hyundai tucson SUV, they are ridiculously easy to put on, they do not heat up and scald you like some other seatcovers even when the interior of the parked car goes over 130 degrees F., the waterproof backing is in fact waterproof which was a very important feature for me in transporting animals, and I consider the price point fair. I have not washed them and I understand they cannot go in the dryer, which is a drag since it's inconvenient and it might also soften them up a little with some of that (loathsome) Snuggie. Sigh. I also wish the frontseat covers fitted as well as the backseat one, probably a twique of engineering in an effort to be one-size-fits-all. But all told, these were a good buy which I would recommend to you if your goal is to economically keep your seats clean and to be able to install them without having to rupture your spleen; if you are seeking a fashion statement, not so much. I think I more or less got what I paid for.

Keeps my car seat nice and clean from grease
I used this before visiting the auto shop for my bi-annual oil & filter changes. Keeps my car seat nice and clean from grease. Easy on and off. By the way, it was designed to work with side air bags.

More Hassle Than It's Worth
This is not worth the money. It never stays in place because there is no way to attach the bottom and the material underneath is slippery on leather. In addition to the seat part of the cover sliding around, the sides fold in (like flaps) so I constantly have to straighten them out before I get in. The whole thing is just like a loose piece of material. I wish I hadn't spent the money as a towel or sheet would work just as well. They need to find someway to make the bottom material less slippery or add some kind of fasteners. Oh, and this thing also attracts lint like there is no tomorrow.

is like velcro and attracts everything
It is floppy and does not stay on the seat well, is like velcro and attracts everything, and is uncomfortable for the kids to sit on. A beach towel works better and is easier to wash.

Three Stars
very cheaply made, but does keep my seat dry after swimming.

great solution to protect your seat after a workout
I like it. I spent a relatively long time trying to figure out a "better way" to protect my seat after a workout, trying to avoid buying something. I thought about sewing a strap to a towel or blanket and other homegrown solutions, but in the end, laziness got the best of me and I purchased this. I have been using it for almost a year and no issues. I thought the elastic band that fits around the headrest would deform or stretch itself out, but it has held up well. It pulls a little when you sit down and you have to push the flap up behind your head, to protect the headrest from sweat, but it's much better than fighting with a beach towel to cover the seat. Some people complained about a chemical smell, but I didn't notice that at all. I don't think it would be good protection for a muddy dog because it does just lay on the seat without tucking in or being secured, but it's great for workout related protection. I would buy it again.update - August 2015 - been using for almost a year and I'm very happy with this seat protector. The elastic has held up and it does a grea job over all. I purchased another one as a gift.
