Favrorite Sugar Substitute
I LOVE this product! I like the glycerite better than the liquid because it's not quite as sweet and doesn't have the bitter aftertaste- I use in just about everything I need sweetened!

Better Stevia Liquid Sweetener, Glycerite: NASTY chemical taste
I put hours of research into Stevia. Read hundreds of reviews. Read product comparison articles comparing major brands. Read about how stevia is produced and discovered that most stevia products have very little stevia in them and are mostly something else: inulin, dextrose, sugar, etc. From all that information I finally decided that NOW foods Better Stevia was probably the most pure and best tasting (from the reviews).I did price shopping, and found that the best deal was from iherb.com. I boughtNow Foods, Better Stevia Liquid Sweetener, French Vanilla, 2 fl oz (60 ml) [...]andNow Foods, Better Stevia Liquid Sweetener, Glycerite, Alcohol-Free, 2 fl oz [...]$3.95 for each two oz bottle.I tried each of them and ruined two cups of coffee. Now Foods, Better Stevia Liquid Sweetener, French Vanilla:2 drops: very faint sweet flavor with a hint of chemical flavor. Hint of sweetness is easily overpowered by the bitterness of my not-very-bitter mocha java coffee4 drops: no sweetness, strong nasty chemical flavor. Tried bread, sugar, milk, and more bread on my tongue before I got rid of the chemical flavor. YUCK!Now Foods, Better Stevia Liquid Sweetener, Glycerite2 drops: very faint sweet flavor no hint of chemical flavor. Hint of sweetness is easily overpowered by the bitterness of my not-very-bitter mocha java coffee4 drops: faint sweetness, strong hint of nasty chemical flavor.6 drops: no increase in sweetness, strong nasty chemical flavor. Tried bread, sugar, milk, and more bread on my tongue before I got rid of the chemical flavor. YUCK!The good news: I'm only out $8, not $18 as I would have been had I bought this from amazon. The bad news: I've opened it so I can't return it.Solution: Gradually decrease the amount of sugar in the raw I use in my coffee, and get used to less sweetness, for my healths sake. Forget stevia.
