Awesome rod
Awesome rod for bass fishing. Great feel. On par with my $300 St. Croix. Have only used it a few times so can't speak to durability but definitely a steal for what you're paying.

Great rod with good action and feel
Very happy with this rod and have been using it almost daily the past few weeks pond fishing near my house. It came very well packaged and looks very good and so far has held up to various lines I have used from mono to 50lb braid. It has been strong enough to pull bass out of thick cover and is still light enough to feel the little dinks when the fish are playing with my lures. I have a Falcon Seaknight XG Baitcaster mounted on it and so far very happy with this setup.

Might be my new primary rod
Has held up against some tough river fish. Good casting and rod has a nice feel and sensitive. I dont care for the color scheme but I can see how it is a deal breaker for some but who cares if it performs. Overall it's a great step a good rod for a small price. Will be buying more in the future.Edit:I own St. Croix, and Gloomis rods and they have a much better feel and much lighter but at the same time not everyone would spend 400 to 800 bucks on just a rod. Those rods are in a league in their own but cadence has done a good job with being on a fair price point for performance.

Respectable
I bought this for half price and it's a 5 star rod for that price. Full price I'd rate it 4, maybe 4.5. Quality control appears good. Handle appears well made, but it seems it adds some weight and I'd prefer a larger grip, but that's with most rods. Sensitivity is probably about par, but the response doesn't seem quite as sharp as similar priced rods I have. I don't plan on buying another one, but for the price I paid I'm happy.

So far so good
Although the shipping tube was broken, the rod was in good shape.I've used it once and I enjoy it.

Brittle and Fragile!
This is the most brittle and fragile rod I have ever owned. 40-ton carbon? Seriously? Don’t get me wrong, they look and feel fantastic. In fact, I liked the lightweight ergonomics and aesthetics so much that I ended up purchasing eight of them. Huge mistake. If you’re a bass fisherman, then these will probably work, as long as you never plan to fish with them in saltwater. I broke two rods my first trip back saltwater marsh fishing. The first big redfish that I hooked eventually made a run towards my kayak and the rod snapped like a twig. At first I thought it was an isolated incident, or perhaps just a freak angle. 20- minutes later, another Cadence rod snapped even easier than the previous one did. Before anyone states that big reds are notorious inshore rod busters, I can emphatically state that most ordinary brand rods can handle a hundred twisting and hard charging reds before breaking. Not the first time out and especially not one with a 40- ton rating. Unfortunately, I will have to relegate the remaining survivors to strictly bass fishing duty. Buyer beware!

Awesome
First time buying fishing rods/reels in 20yrs. These were worth the price. Keep an eye out for discounts too!Shipped in heavy wall cardboard tubes with foam. All arrived in perfect condition.Love the varriety of weights and action available. Going to the big box stores and you're stuck with what they want to sell, not what you need.
