I’m sure it doesn’t matter much, but I’m a “standard” tattoo artist (not a cosmetic/make up tattoo artist); I like to put these on my wireless machine “backwards” - cartridge opening goes over the back end of the machine/battery end and entrance of the sleeve at the business end of the machine, wrapped down with some Coban. Comfier grip (Coban) and all buttons are protected from /the goo/.Thicker/squat pen tattoo machines may not fit in these sleeves (short FYT?), try to check measurements for your machines width-wise.

Good product, a bit too short
These sleeves work great, they’re pink but I can still see my machine to change the throw. I have an Axys Valhalla for reference. The only gripe I have is that they’re just a little short. They go past my battery but not enough so that I can completely seal it off at the end. But that’s with me unscrewing the top of the machine & attaching the sleeve around where you adjust needle depth..it would be too short if I attached it where it’s actually supposed to go.
