Tips For Using These Great Egg Poacher Cups!
I'm really happy with my purchase of these little egg poaching cups! I actually didn't buy them to use for poaching eggs, but rather for mise en place. They do work great for holding ingredients, and I especially like the way you can bend them for pouring. So, they're really good for more than poaching eggs!Anyway, since I now had them, I decided to go ahead and try poaching eggs in them too. I was really impressed, they work just great with simple clean up and no mess at all. I used them in a skillet with a few inches of water, and my eggs came out perfectly. If you're having trouble with egg poaching, here's what I suggest you try. First oil the cups, then put in the eggs, and bring the water to a boil. Then, turn the heat down to a simmer *before* you slip the egg cups into the pan. Cover and cook for no more than 3 1/2 to 4 minutes, then turn off the heat. Five minutes is too long, eggs will be overdone, and will stick in the cups. If you want your eggs a bit more cooked, just let them sit covered in the water for another minute or two, but don't keep the heat on. You can also pop the cups in the microwave for about 10 or 15 seconds to cook the eggs a bit more, either way works good. For easy clean-up, when you slip your eggs out of the cups, fill the cups with cold water. Always use cold water for any utensil used to cook eggs or milk products, hot water will continue to cook the residue and make things hard to clean. I've been cooking for about 65 years, so have picked up a couple tricks along the way.Anyway, this egg technique worked perfectly for me, and I hope it does for you also. Remember, never overcook eggs, that totally ruins them! It's much better to slightly undercook, then leave them sit covered for a moment to finish cooking. If you're planning to use the microwave to actually poach the eggs, rather than a pan on stovetop, I'd start with about half the recommended time. Remember, you can always cook your eggs slightly more if desired, maybe in 10-15 second increments, but if the eggs are overcooked, they're toast......no pun intended!

Easy to use and easy to clean, however they cook the yolks a little faster than the whites.
I like these little poacher forms. They are relatively easy to use and easy to clean. I do find however, that they cook the yolks a little bit faster than the whites. If they changed the form just a little bit and made it just a bit flatter on the bottom, it would allow the whites to cook a little bit more evenly with respect to the yolk. Thankfully, my husband is very accepting of the slightly jiggly whites in order to keep the yolks runny for his eggs Benedict.

Fabulous Product!!! great eggs!
Love poached eggs but have had to throw out soo many poached eggs pans! They last about 1 year tops, but these work great! nothing sticks! Of course we now only use our extra large coturnix quail eggs and they are naturally high in omega 3s so they're oily eggs. I use a spoon and it just comes right out easily; perfect! and cheap!

Not impressed
The quality of the product is good but it does not cook poached eggs - if you want hard boiled, works great. There are no cooking instructions included and after numerous attempts at time and temperature variations, I gave up. If the yolk is runny, the whites are not cooked. If the whites are cooked, the yolk is hard.

I love this easy way to cook eggs in two minutes with very easy cleanup.
The way it’s made is sturdy and you can get it out of microwave with your hand if you grab it’s center.

Eggs stick like glue
The eggs stick after using corn, flax, sunflower or olive oil making them useless. I threw them away.

No puedo despegarlos
El problema es que tienes que estar haciendo error y ensayo, sino se cuecen bien se sale toda la clara por la coladera y si te pasas no los puedes despegar y como quiera pierdes mucho huevo
