Ok, I always put things together...the directions were confusing! I eventually just said screw it and sort of used the directions and then common sense. We have to make the gate go a little higher because the rounded “wheels” underneath were scratching my hardwood floors.Love the look! Was looking for something a little rustic or farmhouse style-works perfectly. Very satisfied with that. Overall love the gate...the sticky tape is not good enough to hold the gate!!! DO NOT USE THE TAPE AND EXPECT IT TO HOLD!!! Other than the sticky tape and the bottom scratching the floor that’s the only cons for this product. To solve scratching the floor we put a chair pad on the bottom of it and that solved our problem, once we raised it up to fit under it.

Customer service was great. We did the hardware mount and It is very sturdy and looks nice too. Happy with the purchase.

Directions very confusing. Even called someone else to help but between us, we gave up and returned. Still need to drill into wall.

Gate is super pretty but came damaged.. several cracks in it and the box has huge holes in it as if it were just thrown around and came OPEN. wasn’t packaged with care at all... very disappointed.Plus the installation is pretty confusing.

Excellent gate! Nothing I dislike. Well made, easy to assemble.

I love the look it is seemingly sturdy. I say seemingly because I have two one is broken and the other seems ok. Along with the gate being broken on the top where the screwed in pad goes the pad itself broke. I dislike the fact that the pad side doesn’t lock in place. It has to be constantly adjusted to keep the gate from being too tight in the opening. I purchased a third gate and for almost a month now I still haven’t received it. Amazon tells me my order may have gotten lost. Installation was not very hard to me. I really hate the way the top locks. It is not easily visible how to open and we have to explain to everyone that comes over how it works. Some just can’t get the handle to open.

I really love this gate! I thought it would be a little easier to set up, I was unaware that it needed to be drilled to the wall but overall love the product, love the look of it which fits my house! Another side note, I wish the warning label was removalable because the direction I needed the gate the warning label is visible, which is an eye sore. Also, I originally purchased two gates because I thought it would clamp to the wall not drilled in, so I had to return one because I didn't want to mess up that doorway. Anyways to return cost me 30 bucks, so I should of just kept it, especially since my dog decided to chew on it😔
